This channel is dedicated to archiving the films of Japanese filmmaker Nobuhiko Obayashi. Obayashi is best known among western audiences for his debut film HOUSE (1977). Since then, Obayashi remained a prominent filmmaker in Japan, creating over 40 feature films in the span of four decades. However, very few of his films have been made available for international release, thus rendering subtitled versions of his movies very difficult to track down.
I do not own the rights to any of these films. Just trying to spread further awareness of one of my favorite obscure filmmakers. Rest in peace, Nobuhiko Obayashi.
