Phantom of the Heart-*
Deep gratitude to Universal and Paramount Pictures for allowing this content.
In memorial to my parents
Both were regarded thoroughbreds of their era; exemplary singers of the time.
They simply loved singing; passion extraordinaire.
To the Susanna Foster viewer (her claim to 20th century fame was her portrayal of 'Christine' in Universal's 1943 classic 'The Phantom of the Opera') ; it is recommended that you start with '...the Mr. Google Dream' and then 'The Susanna Foster Primer' then through 'parts One through Eight', the same order is suggested with my father's clips. His claim to 20th century fame was 1st: He won the first national radio singing contest (1927), placing first out of 50, 000 contestants (arguably the first American Idol), 2nd; costarred opposite Mary Martin in London's South Pacific (1952).
Regrettably, it is an amateur's attempt at telling a tragic and compelling story of Shakespearean proportion.
