Thanks to Patreon we were able to donate $3,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at their annual Toast to Life Event. ‪@IAMCCSuarez‬’s nephew Anderson was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 3 when he was two years old. Since then her family, especially her sister Carlee (Andersons mom), have been doing everything they can to advocate for and educate on the need for research and life saving trials. 60 years ago Neuro Muscular Dystrophy illnesses were not treatable and now many are. With the help of donations, life prolonging research and genetic replacement medications we can one day say “can you believe there was a point where ALS, SMA and other Muscular Dystrophy illnesses weren’t curable??”.
