On_1 launched his career on the fringes of early 90’s house subgenres. Inspired by the 90’s rave scene and the velvet underground, On_1 found and created a sound where his musical tastes – techno, bass house, and his major influence, Acid Rave -- intersect. LA based ON_1 is a fresh face, but not a stranger, to the house scene: ON_1 creates a unique, infectious sound filled with energy, hypnotic bass lines, edgy vocals that are unique to the industry. Flowing seamlessly between MainStage and the underground, ON_1 is bringing back Acid Rave. Heading into 2023, the versatile artist will segue into territories ranging from techno to ambient, with a focus on bridging the gap between bass house and techno music through his new release imprints and his 2023 tour. Curating a sound that is funky, powerful, and focused on bringing back dancing, On_1 seeks to recultivate the early rave culture that brings people together and encourages community connection through his music.
