It looks like that there are some copyright issue's with my latest game that I am streaming. This time it is SWGB. Again, it is the music of that game. Even though, "no" actions are taken. I always feel this enormous drop in views. Nor did people get a notification with the second one. In fact, I suspect I went into the dark with my channel, just because of this one.
If people want to see, me play SWGB. I will have to do it without the music.
I shall keep the 2 streams up for a week. Then I purge them from my channel. A shame, really. The game is fun so far. Do me a favor. Put in R.I.P. in the comments of the 2 SWGB streams I did so far. That way, I know you have seen some of it :)
If you make one in Youtube. Make sure to share it with a link...here. Because I cannot see the clips that people have made with video material. Youtube doesn't work that way....unfortunately.
Twitch is different in that regard. I can see those without a problem.
What happened? I had the same copyright claim on each video. I had so many copyright claims on the same exact sound. That I felt like it WOULD certainly influence my channel.
The sound was part of a song, composed by the music composer for the game. 10 years before the song which holds the so called copyright. It was A. not the same song. B. the OST was created 10 years before that.
The first video had my dispute approved. Which meant, it worked. So I made 9 more, for the rest of the series. I immediately had 1 dispute send back as not approved. Thus the copyright claim remained.
Just now, today. I had more of those emails that the dispute is not approved. And thus all those copyright claims would remain. I decided to delete them all as soon as I got the chance too.
I delete 1 stream...
And would you not believe what happened. A couple of other disputes got approved again.
This got me very angry. And knowing the slow pace this goes. It would mean I have to wait for another 2 to 4 weeks again in awaiting the dispute. I already deleted a stream!!! We are NOT going to get that one back!!!
HAAWK for a 3rd Party was not fair to me. And they handled the situation not correct. They failed in their work for me. And they were not fair, and failed, to the original composer.
I am going to delete the rest now. I want a copyright claim free channel. Which means, I will no longer dispute. But simply DELETE whatever the claim will be. Even if they are false.
In case of a false claim series. I will "dispute" it here in the community tab instead.
My most loyal viewers might have noticed a little hiatus on my channel. No worries, this little hiatus is supposed to be shortlived. I just have some things in life that need more attention. And they eat up streaming time.
Soon I will return. But for the time being. I need to be playing a game that is more of a sandbox or just an activity for which I don't have to use my brain. Something nostalgic. Something that has gaps in between. This contrariy to my usual RTS games.
After this "sandbox" hiatus. I would like to continue with RTS and also replay XCOM 2. It seems I missed something in XCOM2. As for RTS, still some RA3 remains. But also TW and KW. Perhaps if people want me, I do SC2 (but then normal)
But for now. Once I start a "sandbox". It will be a bit of an autistic play. Yes, lets say, I would look like a complete noob. And there would be a lot of chat too.

Alright, I played 2 episodes of Factorio and 2 of Minecraft. I have had some very positive feedback for both games.
I need some good rest. And hope to have my next episode as soon as possible. Which will be episode 3 for Factorio.
