Hello everyone. Before going to church this morning, I wanted to share an announcement. I decided to continue live streaming every Sunday evening at 7:17 PM. However, I wasn't sure, and yesterday I lost my balance and fell on my right side, so I had to wait until this morning. Thankfully, my condition and pain are not as bad as I expected, and I am grateful for that.

Because of this, I have a strong desire to share what happened last week, so I will proceed with today's live stream. This time, I will talk about 'minimal life' and the personal experiences God has allowed me to have to understand Him more deeply. 안녕하세요 여러분. 오늘 아침 교회에 가기 전에 공지드리고자 합니다. 매주 일요일 저녁 7시 17분에 라이브 스트리밍을 계속하려고 결심했었는데... 하지만 확신이 없었고, 어제는 균형을 잃고 오른쪽으로 넘어졌ㅇ어서 아침까지 기다려야 했습니다. 다행히도 예상했던 것보다 상태와 통증이 심하지 않아서 감사하고ㅠ있습니다.

덕분에 지난주에 있었던 일을 나누고 싶은 강한 소망이 생겨서 오늘 라이브 진행하겠습니다. 이번에는 '미니멀 라이프'와 하나님께서 저에게 더 깊이 이해할 수 있도록 허락하신 개인적인 경험등을 나누게 될 것입니다

Wow... finally 1,000 subscribers... I give thanks and praise to God.
Seeing the number 999 yesterday made me feel like a new chapter was truly beginning.
The message God gave me this morning was also astonishingly as follow.

It feels intimidating to start something new without knowing how it will work out, whether a new relationship, job, project or even traveling to a new place. We never know what challenges we might face along the way. 

After God met the people of Israel at Mount Sinai, He gave them a new identity (people belonging to Him), new values (the Ten Commandments), and a new destination (the Promised Land). They had no idea where to go or how long it would take. As God led them further into the wilderness, He also gave these desert-weary people a promise to be with them and give them rest.

They had a lot of questions—about everything! Would they be able to find food and water? Would they meet enemies on their journey? How would they live their lives? 

Anytime we find ourselves in a new season, place, or situation, we cannot anticipate what we will need, and we get to benefit from the same promise God made to Israel then: His presence is enough, and we can trust Him. 

No matter what happens or where we go, He will be with us, and He makes a way for us to rest. 

You can trust that God will lead you into a future where rest is possible. Just as He provided Israel with manna to eat when they needed food, He provides for you, too. He is with you, and He is for you.

I believe that the God who has been with me so far will continue to be here and give peace to everyone who is with me from this YouTube channel.

With a heart full of fear and trembling, I wish to die to myself and only let Christ be glorified as I start on this new endeavor.
As promised, I will have my first live broadcast tomorrow (June 9th, 2024), Sunday afternoon. As someone who loves special numbers, 3:13 and 7:17 suddenly came to my mind.

어제 999숫자를 보며 아... 이제 진짜 새로운 일이 시작되는 구나 싶어는 데
오늘 아침에 주신 말씀이 또한 넘 놀랍게도 아래와 같았습니다.

........

새로운 관계, 직업, 프로젝트, 심지어 새로운 곳으로의 여행 등 어떻게 될지 모르고 새로운 일을 시작한다는 것은 겁이 납니다. 우리는 그 과정에서 어떤 어려움에 직면하게 될지 결코 알 수 없습니다. 

하나님께서는 시내산에서 이스라엘 백성들을 만나신 후 그들에게 새로운 정체성(그분께 속한 백성)과 새로운 가치관(십계명)과 새로운 목적지(약속의 땅)를 주셨습니다. 그들은 어디로 가야할지, 얼마나 걸릴지 전혀 몰랐습니다. 하나님께서는 그들을 더 광야로 인도하실 때, 사막에 지친 이 백성들에게 그들과 함께하고 안식을 주겠다는 약속도 주셨습니다.

그들은 모든 것에 대해 많은 질문을 했습니다! 과연 그들은 음식과 물을 찾을 수 있을까요? 여행 중에 적을 만날까요? 그들은 어떻게 삶을 살 것인가? 

새로운 계절, 장소, 상황에 처할 때마다 우리는 무엇이 필요할지 예상할 수 없으며, 그때 하나님께서 이스라엘에게 하신 동일한 약속으로부터 유익을 얻습니다. 그분의 임재로 충분하며 우리는 그분을 신뢰할 수 있습니다. 

무슨 일이 일어나든, 우리가 어디로 가든지 그분은 우리와 함께하실 것이며 우리가 안식할 길을 마련해 주실 것입니다. 

하나님께서 당신을 휴식이 가능한 미래로 인도하실 것임을 믿을 수 있습니다. 이스라엘에게 음식이 필요할 때 먹을 만나를 주신 것처럼, 그분은 당신에게도 공급하십니다. 그분은 당신과 함께 계시며 당신을 위하십니다.

Hello subscribers, I am thrilled to announce that I have almost reached 1,000 subscribers! I never imagined this would happen when I started sharing my favorite things on YouTube a year ago. Knowing that many of you subscribed mainly for the shorts and the words of encouragement and praise in English, I feel a strong desire to communicate with you more directly.

To celebrate reaching 1,000 subscribers, I want to take some time to express my gratitude. I'm planning to try something new that I’ve never done before: a live broadcast. During the live stream, I want to share my faith, thoughts, and some amazing testimonies that have been happening lately. I also plan to reveal my face and interact with you all in real-time. Despite my limited English skills, I believe that in a live setting, I can share my genuine self, and I am praying that it will be possible.

I will soon announce the date and time for this live stream. By declaring this plan, I believe it will become a reality once I gain just three more subscribers. So, I wanted to share this upcoming plan with you all today. Until now, I’ve shared my personal life, thoughts, and favorite moments on YouTube, and through this, I’ve grown a lot in many ways. I give all praise and glory to God, who has been with me and guided me on this journey.

*YEAR END REFLECTION*
We are almost at the end of 2023! What a year this has been!

This week between Christmas and New Year can be a space for us to reflect on 2023 and prepare for 2024.

This week – if you have a moment – see if you can take a few minutes for a prayer of Examen over 2023. It doesn’t need to be hours of sitting with your journal and making sure not to miss anything. Just see what comes up in the space of a few minutes attention.
Get into a comfortable position. Close your eyes. Feel your feet on the floor. Take a few deep breaths. Now hold 2023 that is coming to a close. As you gently hold this year with God, you may want to cup your hands as a symbolic way of “holding” 2023.

What are the moments that come to mind? Not the news headlines, but the moments of YOUR life.
What have been harder, darker moments? Where was there joy? Where was there pain? What gave you life this year? What seemed to drain it away?
Where might God be drawing your attention, to see something you might not have expected?
Sit with whatever comes up for you. Hold it with God. Allow God to highlight things to you.
Give thanks for all that He is showing you – the goods, the bads, the mundanes...
God desires to be involved in every moment of your life. Are you willing to let Him take the lead? What does He want you to let go and give Him?

Now, ask God for a word for 2024. ONE WORD. Listen to what He gives you. It would be interesting at the end of 2024 to discover how that word intersected with your life.
