Gaming Coverage.
Hit a variety of gaming related topics, but my main focuses are on:
1) New games that hit the market, and attempt to give them exposure.
2) Sales games that people may be missing
3) Other video types involved around Game Design, Gaming History, and pretty much anything that hits my head creatively.

Ok, It's an update! Because well....I'm married. I'll post some pictures after they come in (we have first looks but I'm waiting for the good ones), but it was a lovely ceremony and everything went so well, and now I'm a husband. Somehow, Andrea is now having to put up with me for the rest of our lives, so pray for her. I mean, she's gotta listen to me talk about all those indie games I play.
So now, after getting back into the groove of things, the next review will be Slitterhead. And ignat, before you say anything, this isn't the final thumbnail, old lady will be in the last version of it. The recommendation from the 2024 overlooked games video was a pretty interesting one, and I have a lot to talk about it, because I find it fascinating. I mean, coming from the Silent HIll and Gravity Rush creator, yeah, that makes sense, but I need a little more time with it because I need to play the game on the harder difficulty. Not to say that the normal difficulty doesn't provide a challenge, but I am interested to see how the game messes with some of the difficulty spikes.
Now that the wedding is done, I can actually do release day reviews again, and have started to request some keys for review (and have some sent to me). I didn't want to commit to release day/embargo reviews in the last 4 months before the wedding, mostly because I didn't want to leave a dev hanging because I couldn't do it. Now that things are a bit more normal, I can get back into the groove again persay.
As always, if you want more updates and want to talk games, or anything else, you can come join the discord. discord.gg/28bCpYmvwU

I'm going on record saying that whatever changes Youtube made in January, it's been a nightmare for stream footage because the footage has missing frames left and right. I apologize for the lateness of this review, but I refuse to have sub-par footage to be used for this review. It's just taking a while to convert it. Will take any recommendations if people have found better video downloaders (it's all my own footage, but for some reason it's the year 2025 and youtube only allows you to download your own footage at 1280x720).

"Going to force the issuee with the Bloomtown review and the writing, to get the review out"
Fate:
Oh good, here's a flu and a sore throat.
What I'm saying is, the review may be pushed to Monday, and I may sound like I'm eating a frog while doing it.

So yeah, the schedule sorta got blown up. Surprisingly if you start getting a ton of stuff at work plus wedding stuff, you get all over the place and end up being pulled in so many directions you end up not getting a lot done. Who knew?
I do want to give a lot of love for all the people who have subscribed/shared/enjoyed my overlooked games video over the last month. It not only succeeded my wildest expectations, but you have no idea what it did for my psyche at the time. I still have no idea why the algorithm decided at this time to share it with people, but I'm glad it did.
From that, I want to make clear that going forward, I want to make sure the top works of the year have a review on this channel. Like the top 4 or 5 of this year. That means I may be playing some catch up on some reviews, and that's starting with Bloomtown, which hopefully releases this week. I admit that with the chaos, writing that review was a lot more intensive then I expected. Especially with the small details, and it's looking like it'll be a 35-45 minute review. Yep, I'm crazy, I know.
As for the rest of the projected schedule, till the end of month of Feb, this is what I'm projecting. Now note, whenever I get a review key for a game to come out, that usually takes precident, but considering the wedding is coming up, I really am not going to take any keys most likely. It would have to be a game that I was really looking to cover. But for now, it's looking like:
Tuesday, Jan 28th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Eternal Strands (Action Adventure Fantasy)
Thursday, Jan 30th - Youtube - Review - Bloomtown: A Different Story
Thursday, Jan 30th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Zet Zillions (Card Roguelite)
Friday, Jan 31st - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Citizen Sleeper 2 (Dice Driven RPG)
February 3rd - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Blood Bar Tycoon (Simulation)
February 5th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Rift of the NecroDancer (Rhythm)
February 7th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Sulphur Memories: Alchemist (Roguelike Exploration)
Feburary 10th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Novus Orbis (Deckbuilding Roguelike)
Feburary 11th - Youtube - Remakes/Remasters - Translating Positives
Feburary 12th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Urban Myth Dissocation Center (Horror) (I'll be requesting a key for this, so it's possible the remakes video falls to the next week and this gets a review)
Feburary 13th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Promenade (Platformer)
The two 20ths below is something I will request keys for and may review one over the other.
Feburary 18th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Slitterhead (Horro)
Feburary 20th - Youtube (HOPEFULLY) - Stories from Sol - 2D RPG SciFi
Feburary 20th - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Blood Typers (Typing Survival Horror)
Feburary 21st - Twitch - 7:30 PM EST - Discord Vote
Feb 24th - March 2nd - Nothing. Wedding. Getting Married.

So, a new year update.
My typical overlooked games video.....well the algorithm liked it or something, because it basically just blasted the last year out of the water by itself, including last's years overlooked video. It's done extremely well, and you'd think I'd be proud. And I am. Extremely. Also extremely confused on why it took off compared to all the other videos, but hey, you know what, don't look a gift horse in the mouth and all. I thank every one who watched it, and I hope you found a game or two that you enjoy. I do wish I got it out before the steam sale ended, but I needed the time to finish it at that point.
As to the next video, I am still working on the Remakes part 1 video as mentioned before, focusing on translating positives from old games to a new audience, and it's coming along. I'm taking my time on it and I won't promise it specifically at any point, but it's coming along with new editing techniques that I haven't used before. Exciting.
I will be finishing Bloomtown on stream and reviewing it. I feel like I owe that to top candidates in my overlooked list, and I believe that's the big one missing at this point. I will be continuing to stream it over on Twitch, and the schedule for this week below. Many of the recommendations that were left in the video will be also stream candidates to look at this month, and I'll start doing my dig into upcoming games and candidates.
There's about <60 days till the wedding, so that's also on my mind as of right now.
As for the upcoming Vlad pngtuber stream idea, I think I have the first perfect game to start with, and putting that into motion. It would usually be a friday stream in that case. Like me playing Yakuza or retros.
Thank you for following the channel, and especially the kind words on the last video. It really did hit home that I was doing something positive for the indie scene, and that's what this channel is focused on (95% at least)

ANOTHER UPDATE.
So the hurricane. We got hit. We lost power for like 4 days. It was not fun. We lost all our frozen food during the storm, and while nothing in the house got damaged badly, a family friend had a tree fall through their house and car. It was not fun. Someone hit our car on Saturday and did a hit and run too. That wasn't fun.
Bakeru review is moved to monday. I hate that I have gone THIS long without a review. The sad reality is: I"m wiped out from the Hurricane. You wanna know about stress? Have a Midwest guy who hasn't lost power for more then 24 hours, and was habitally online....not have a connection and power for like 4 days. It was not fun.
Streaming Silent Hill on Twitch, then will follow with Bloomtown. Will probably play the TMNT Rougelike on Friday.
EVERYTHING IS CHAOS.

So ok, a little mini update.
The next review is Bakeru. I was hoping that I would get it done this week. But the whole Hurricane Milton situation is drawing my attention a bit. I live northeast of tampa, and by the time it hits us, it'll be a Category 3 as of right now. Considering that's the largest since I've moved down here, and I don't want any of my retro/house/everything getting wrecked, I've been moving around and trying to help guard against that. I know, it's another several weeks with a review, but frankly, it's what I can put out at this time. If you have anyone in the path of the hurricane, be ready to help them out in case things go.....funky.
Bloomtown is still a game I want to review, but it may be the next after Bakeru. I do need to catch up on my overlooked games list.
For what I can do streaming wise on Twitch, it'll be the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Dragnix not play an indie game on stream? Yeah, haven't done it in a while, but frankly it's the month of spooks and I know a certain fiancee of mine would love to watch it, so I'm playing it.
Need clones of myself.
