Biography:

Aquildawud is a singer/songwriter from West Philly. He’s the son of Philadelphia’s own, neo soul duo, Kindred the Family Soul. Which only makes sense that he draws inspiration from musicians like his parents, Donny Hathaway, Lauryn Hill, D’angelo, Erykah Badu & J Dilla. He his musical journey in high school; singing and writing hooks for his friends. Aquil’s passion for music grew when he got to college. He began his journey as a solo artist. Writing and recording his own music. Aquil is now currently enrolled at Morehouse College. Working on perfecting his craft while also pursuing a career in the field of education.
