Holding a Master of Arts in Music, Bamdad Afshar has a solid background of working in movies, theater and performance as a music composer and a sound designer.
He currently teaches relevant Master courses in the faculty of fine arts in University of Tehran.

His main concern has been urban audio atmospheres with focus on sounds of Tehran for years.
He also has a passion for the robotics field and has been making efforts to produce music and performances with robots.
Following this, he has recently supervising a group called "Otagh” with the same concern , working on performance and musical concerts with the mentioned concepts with other programmer, musicians,actors and singers combining visual arts and sound designing in order to perform.
