I am grateful to Dr Naomi Cano, my colleague, for her comments concerning my YouTube Channel, published on the University of Granada (UGR) Website and network today at the following URL: canal.ugr.es/noticia/canal-de-youtube-de-khalid-s-….
She stated that thanks to accessible, non-technical language, the channel's content captures the attention of researchers in training, but also the general public, "doing citizen science", and "In fact, we receive numerous comments from viewers who are not specialised in scientific methodology, to which we always respond. We have even created videos in response to requests and questions from our audience, thus fostering an active and participatory community."
In these videos, the Channel addresses key topics in scientific practice, including the importance of patient participation in research, the Declaration of Helsinki and its impact on the ethics of medical experimental studies, the role of ethics committees in research oversight, and the usefulness of science in everyday life.

Research integrity requires adherence to ethical and professional principles and standards. It should be at the heart of the evidence or E of evidence-based medicine (EBM). Research misconduct investigations often reveal questionable research practices encouraged or tolerated within an unhealthy academic environment. Institutions have a responsibility to put an end to the "publish or perish" culture.
