Anybody seen the new Nintendo Direct? Because holy hell are we cooking with new games! Most of them are games I’m excited for like Little Nightmares 3, Fatal Frame 2 Crimson Butterfly Remake, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2, Persona 3 Reload, Resident Evil Requiem, Pokemon Legends Z-A, and more. There are some games I’m not interested in, but still, Nintendo has finally heard that we all want more games for the Switch 2 and not games that we can already play on the system or games that are super expensive.

I’ve wanted to post something that is stupid that YouTube has just updated to include something that no one asked for: a Restricted Mode option. If this is on by default, which most YouTubers are saying is the case for them, then you won’t see a lot of videos from YouTubers you are currently subscribed to, because it makes it so that this Restricted Mode restricts you from seeing more mature videos. Real smart move YouTube, trying to make your platform more kid friendly when ignoring the YouTube Kids app, which has a lot of content that is not kid friendly on it. Thankfully, Restricted Mode is off by default on me, but go to You on the Bottom Right, and then click on the Gear Icon on the Top Right go into settings and check if Restricted Mode is turned on. If it is, TURN RESTRICTED
MODE OFF!

My mom and dad helped me get Donkey Kong Bananaza, and I won’t be making a Let’s Play of the game as I haven’t played it yet, but this is a special announcement. I don’t usually do Self-Imposed Challenges in video games, but this game is where I start to make an exception, as I will be going through the entirety of Donkey Kong Bananaza on a first playthrough, including getting 100%, on a 3 Heart only run. My rules is that I can’t get any Health Extensions, permanent or temporary. I can heal up by consuming drinks, but I won’t use any drinks that give a temporary health boost. This is going to be a tough and challenging ride, and I’m a ballsy idiot for doing this, but I like being a ballsy idiot that is willing to challenge myself. I will keep posting updates on the run on how well I’m doing.

2 days ago, I played Mario Kart World and I want to let people know my thoughts on the game. So far, the game is actually pretty amazing for being the first Open World like Mario Kart game. But there are some things I don’t like about the game, like the fact that there are only 32 tracks, though Rainbow Road increases that number to 33 once it is unlocked, I don’t like that 200cc isn’t in the game, which is something a future update could change. I also don’t like how to get the rest of the NPC drivers that aren’t already unlocked at the start you have to get them through the Kamek Item, which basically is up to random chance, though some tracks have higher spawn rates for certain NPC Drivers. I also don’t like how Nintendo got rid of underwater sections and the anti gravity sections, nor did I like how they went back to premade karts, though thankfully, you need 3000 coins to unlock the 29 karts that are locked away, though I wish there were a little bit more karts in the game. Also I kind of hate that they removed Shine Thief, Bob-Omb Blast and Renegade Roundup, though I understand why Renegade Roundup was removed as Piranha Plant is an NPC Driver, though they could bring in a different colored Piranha Plant as a replacement for the Piranha Plant item in Renegade Roundup. And yesterday, I saw Elio at the Regal Theater, and it was a good movie. It wasn’t something I was kind of expecting, but it was still a good movie.

Been getting back into some of my video games, like The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Now I thankfully learned that any of the DLC items you get by purchasing the Torna The Golden Country DLC for Xenoblade 2 are not shared by users, so I can play the game again on my second user and get the DLC items again.

Super Mario Party Jamboree will be put on hold, as I will be heading to Disney World for a week, and then my Grandma Parker is flying down to bring me to Utah, and I will be unable to record videos. But when I get back, Super Mario Party Jamboree will be back, and maybe Super Mario Sunshine on 3D All-Stars will be resumed after its long hiatus.

While I’m more of a casual Splatoon 3 player and won’t do a Let’s Play of Splatoon 3, this is one of my best moments in the game where I took out the whole enemy team with a Wipeout with a perfectly timed Triple Splashdown after I got crushed by a Splat Roller. And it was even more amazing when I realized that the enemy players, including the one who crushed me with the Splat Roller, were all grouped together, allowing this to happen.

From October 22nd to October 30th, I will be in Disney World, during November 3rd I will be in Houston Texas, and from November 5th to December 4th, I will be in Salt Lake City Utah, my home state, so I won’t be able to record more Episodes of Super Mario Sunshine during those times. But after I come back from Utah, Super Mario Sunshine will continue.
