Music from a bar band of the '70's.
Custer was an Oklahoma based band formed in the fall of 1975. For three years they played various venues throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, & Colorado. The group disbanded in December of 1978, but have remained good friends and have performed together a few times and had several "Reunion Jams".
Sound quality issues exist in most of the tapes from the '70's. Recorder placement, etc... was not a priority at the time, locations varied from outside to gyms, and the cassette tapes mainly were used to by the band for a rough review of the gigs. The sound on the live tapes from the 80's was marginally better, being recorded on a Boom Box. Secret Studio recordings were Reel to Reel. Since 2010, some attempts have been made to improve sound quality.
This channel exsists, in the main, for family & friends as a record of our musical activities at the time, but all are welcome. The channel is not regularly monitored by us, so excuse any lapses in comunications.
