Hey y'all, Stash here. Its the end of the year so I sorta wanted to discuss plans for 2024 going forward. 2023 was definitely a lacking year for me content wise, and that’s mainly due to me dedicating most of this year to college, my girlfriend, and helping other people with their projects, like MaimyMayo’s Pizza Tower videos for instance. I actually wanna talk about that first real quick, since in case you haven’t heard, Unexpectancy with Lyrics will be uploaded to my channel rather than hers, since the copyright holders of Pizza Tower’s soundtrack, Materia Collective, hate fun. However, we’ll still be working hard on this cover and we’ll be sure to make it one worth remembering. Unexpect to see it early 2024.
Now, the two big questions I’m sure you’re all wanting me to answer: Where’s YTP Invasion and where’s Arcade Archives? Well, it’s important for me to explain the development process a little further so that people can understand why things have been taking so long. After we finished YTPI v2 in March of 2022 (yes it really has been that long), most of the team decided to shift focus on VS Evil Otto, or as we know it now, Arcade Archives. I dedicated essentially all my FNF work toward Arcade Archives in 2022, and as a result YTP invasion had a bit of a development hiatus where people weren’t super motivated to work on the mod because Arcade Archives was the priority. However, 2023 was a massive year for YTPI's overall development. We've been working our butts off for this mod, and with the exception of a couple sprites and song remakes, nearly everything for the mod is complete.
The major thing currently holding us back right now when it comes to YTPI development is working with Codename Engine. On one hand, It’s more difficult to work with than Psyche, but developing the mod in Codename Engine has allowed us to avoid certain issues that were essentially unavoidable in Psyche Engine, such as major lag spikes and crashing in certain songs. It has made coding for the mod more difficult, but we definitely feel like it’s worth the hassle if it prevents the issues I just mentioned. As for scale, the mod has nearly 30 songs, with the entire v2 soundtrack being remade (with the exception of blaster because you can’t improve perfection). Essentially all of these songs have been coded in, but there are many that need some additions in order to be complete, like some missing mechanics or mid-song events. Definitely expect to see it early next year as well, as I promise it will be worth the wait.
As for arcade archives, honestly it would be best to not raise your expectations super high, just because I don’t feel like there’s enough source material out there to make a super big update to Arcade Archives. We essentially did everything we wanted to do with the mod for part 1. The only exceptions would be Rumble McSkirmish, Q*bert arcade, and the Sinnesloschen song teased after Polybius. Overall I’m just very content with how the mod is in it’s current state, and as a result I haven’t really prioritized it too much this year. I've just been too focused on YTP Invasion this year, so it's sort of the opposite problem of last year lol. It's definitely likely we'll cook something up for the mod and release it next Halloween though, so look out for that.
Well, that’s about it. I'd like to also focus on more original works outside of FNF or lyrical covers, like working on cartoons or more animations of songs I enjoy. Speaking of those, be sure to check out the animations I've made as of recent. Since they're not related to FNF, those videos don't have the best view count. Seeing all the fanart and gameplay videos of my work warms my heart, and I still can't thank you all enough for the incredible community surrounding my mods. However, I've been shifting my focus lately to other things that I just feel like should be prioritized more. I've been focusing a bit more on things like spending time with my girlfriend, doing local musical theater, working on my own original video game, focusing on getting scholarships for college, and finding better employment opportunities. This is a very important part of my life, and while I don't think my love for fnf will ever quite go away, I can't prioritize it over things that will be better for me in the long run. I'm still trying to balance my real life with directing these projects, but do understand that these things take time, especially under these set of circumstances. Thank you amigos

Anyway, thank you for all the support and all the kind words! It's really appreciated. I was using adobe animate today and this giant rabbit suddenly appeared. Said something about conquering christmas smh
The next ytp invasion update is VERY close to completion!! It'll have 14 new songs, new cutscenes, a lot of new, unique gimmicks, and the return of many iconic characters!! Stay tuned!!
