I know 1 million lifetime views is nothing to the "big" YouTubers. But, for me, realizing that the videos I've made over the last two years have been viewed a million times... it's really humbling.
Thank you to everyone who has watched, joined the conversation in the comments, or clicked any of those buttons (like/subscribe/notifications.)
I sincerely hope my videos save you time, money, or frustration and make it just a little easier for you to create the things you want and share them with the world.
If you've left a comment on any of my videos recently and I haven't responded, I apologize. I'm just getting over a flu that had me sicker than I've ever been in my life.
I'm trying to get back to everyone as quickly as I can.
They say subscriber count is a "vanity metric" these days... even if it weren't, we're not talking about 100k or a million. Compared to the big names, I'm a little fish 🐟
in a big pond.
BUT, I'm really humbled to realize that 5,000+ people have watched a video I made and liked it enough to say "I'd like to see more of what this guy does." 👀
Thank you so much for hanging out with me and exploring all the creator tools we can. The future of content creation is bright and exciting for all of us!
Can't stand the sound of your own voice? Same here! But PLEASE don't let it stop you from creating videos or podcasts.
Nothing to sell here.. just sharing experiences that I hope will encourage someone. I don't like the sound of my voice... at all. Early on, I hired a voiceover actor (before AI.) and something weird happened... I got comments asking whose voice that was AND saying they liked my voice better. WHAT?????
OK, so that could be a handful of people with bad taste. But I recently made my cloned voice available for others to use and people are actually using it! Yeah, people are choosing my awful voice from thousands of others and I'm even making a few bucks from it. Not much, but that isn't the point.
The point is that I NEVER would have thought anyone would voluntarily listen to my voice, much less ask me to go back to doing my own voiceovers, and I would have told you that you were nuts if you said someone - anyone - would pick my voice for a project out of a library of options.
So, whatever is holding you back from pursuing your creative adventure... don't let it!
I jumped on YT to upload a video. 10 minutes later, I'm completely enthralled watching a guy make a custom pair of shoes for Joe Rogan. (PS, I've never had any interest in custom shoes and I'm not a Rogan super-fan)
When I'm evaluating an image generation tool, video editing software, or any creator tool, I like to know who is behind it.
Is it a big company, a small team, or one person? What county are they in? What else do we know about them?
Are you interested in this, too?
Would you like me to cover more if this info when in reviewing a tool... Or would you be interested in seeing videos profiling the people behind the brands, or maybe even interviews with these folks?
Let me know. I don't want to add this stuff if you're not interested.
