This is HUGE for small creators like me 🎉
👉 You can now Hype up to 3 videos per week from your favourite small creators (under 500k subs).
👉 Hyping goes beyond liking & sharing a video it actually boosts videos in YouTube’s algorithm, helping us to get discovered by new audiences.
👉 You can only hype videos that are less than 7 days old.
📱 How to Hype a Video:
1. On the YouTube app, it’ll show where the comments section usually is. If not then swipe left where the comments section is. (like you would for livestream chats). I’ve attached a screenshot from my daughter’s phone.
2. You’ll see the Hype button, tap it to give your favourite creators points!
3. You can also find the full Hype leaderboard by going to the Explore tab (top left on Home) → Hype.
🌍 It’s now available in 39 countries including Australia, UK, US, Canada, Japan, Korea, India, and more.

Gosh this one took forever, almost a month! 😅
But… it was time well spent, I had a lot of fun focusing on all the details. Part of that time was likely me procrastinating on the colour palette.
