The Asian Leadership Conference(ALC) was founded by the Chosun Daily Newspaper in 2005. The ALC was created to for the young minds in Korea so that they meet global leaders and widen their perspective for the peace and prosperity in Asia. Major participants include President Barack Obama, President George Bush, Prime Minister Modi, President Joko Widodo, Prime Minister David Cameron, Alibaba Chairman Jack Ma, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, etc. Regardless of nationalities, young minds may learn from the experiences and wisdom of global leaders in a turbulent modern society. Our future depends on our young people. So the elders must provide learning platforms to the young. The young must learn to cooperate. The Asian Leadership Conference will do everything to be this platform for the young. The only obligation for the young is that they pass their wisdom to the next generation. As JFK said, “All this will not be finished ….. in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin.”
