Hello everyone! I want to share the reason I uploaded this series, even if there is only 2 days left of the current MoC remaining.

I started Honkai Star Rail on May 1st. I am a completely F2P (free-to-play) player, meaning I spent $0. I have not used any stellar jades to replenish power. I also have not used any fuels. I have capped out on power on 6 different days for several hours. I do not complete overworld farming everyday or finish 100 elite kills in simulated universe every week. I did not farm for relics; I ran a few runs early on, got the main stat that I was looking for even if it was a purple relic, and moved on. As of July 26th, I have the bottom 1.44% luck on the character banner and have overall low eidolon characters, none of them are E6. I built many characters because I enjoy playing them and by doing so, I am aware that my resources were spread thin.

Despite all of this, I cleared all of MoC with 18/30 stars and I am happy with that. Arguably, I could have burned all my fuel and relic farmed to increase my chances of clearing faster for more stars, but my goal was to clear representing a player who spends nothing and works with whatever cards are dealt to them. I limit test, learn enemy mechanics and the strengths and synergies of my characters and builds in order to finish current content. It provides me with knowledge on the weaknesses of my account, and it helps me determine which character banner to pull for.

I hope this motivates people to think outside of the box. The meta will always change. This is a gacha game and there will always be unfortunate circumstances. However, there are multiple ways to solve these problems even if you don't have the time, luck, or money, so don't give up! Thank you for coming to my ted talk, and I hope you enjoyed this series.
