For those wondering why I haven’t uploaded new overlays in a while, I wanted to give a quick update…

Over the last several months, I’ve felt like my creativity has been going downhill, and the overlays have started to look too similar. I’ve been struggling to come up with fresh looks and new film sounds. The last few overlays I made just weren’t as good as I wanted them to be, and I felt like the channel was suffering because of it. I want to provide creators with good elements, and lately, I’ve felt like I was letting the community down.

So for now, I’m taking a break. I do think I’ll create more overlays in the future because I truly enjoy the creative process, but it won’t be every week like before. Weekly uploads for over five years was a lot. I don’t know if I can get back to that kind of schedule again (and still make stuff I’m proud of). I want to create when I have a genuine idea... not just because I need to get something uploaded for the week.

I’m so thankful that the channel has been supported through the years! I’ve always loved reading your comments and making friends along the way. I’ve seen my overlays used in so many of your videos... it still blows my mind. You all make amazing content, and I’m humbled knowing you thought my overlays were good enough to use. Thank you so, so much.

The channel isn’t dead, it just won’t be as active as it used to be ♥️

A bit of sad news... I've been posting new overlays consistantly every Wednesday for almost 5 years. But this week will be the first time I'll have to miss an upload. A family member unexpectedly passed away yesterday and this week will be spent with loved ones. Thank you all for the support of the channel and I'll make sure to upload new overlays again soon 🖤

I've collected a LOT of vintage stuff from making overlays over the years. instead of just letting it pile up, what if I started a second channel showcasing some of this stuff? maybe even show the video on the old film? might be kind of cool to see what's actually on these reels.

i would still keep this channel going with new overlays every week of course.
