I currently don't have pretty much anything in work in progress, so i'm making this post to keep my activity up. Amaya, Joseph's girlfriend, recently got a sprite revamp as well as sprite pack (huge thanks to ‪@Phoenixfirewolf12‬). I won't promise when exactly, but you'll see these two together quite often in future animations.

If you didn't like new colors, feel free to change them and use original ones instead.

I'm taking a huge break after the animation i've dropped recently, but it doesn't mean i can't mess around in Animate. Next animation is prolly gonna be an RPG animation, so i don't mind sharing how do i plan to deepen this format - the introduction of some sort of HUD.

I won't promise anything though, it might turn out that it's gonna be tedious to animate and i might end up scrapping this idea.

12-13 minutes of animated material, it's like i'm animating an anime episode at this point.
It's legitimately the longest animation i've ever worked on (as of right now at least).

The main section of my animation (being the battle itself) is almost finished after which i'll have to make a few dialogue scenes, but that's not a big deal - i think it's safe to say that i'm slowly getting to the finish line.

More and more people come to this channel, so i think it's time for me to make a small, but quite important announcement about this channel - as it will grow on, eventually i plan to get rid of Void as my mascot and change him to my OC, Joseph. When i created this channel, he wasn't as written and polished as he is right now (not to mention that sprites for him weren't present), so i think it's about time for him to take the place he deserves.

Have a recent artwork of this catboy for this post. As much as i want to share my progress with you guys, it would be better if i won't share anymore spoilers. Peace.

Bud thinks he's playing Dying Light.
This sequence took me REALLY long to animate, i had to animate it frame by frame.

I noticed i didn't post anything for almost two months, so have this piece of upcoming animation to spice things up. I promised i won't show anymore spoilers, but i didn't feel like making a new post without anything to show. Despite progress being slow, the content is on its way.

Yes, i legitimately thought about this.

I'm aware of War of Sprites, and that Burn and Joseph are in these series fighting against dozens of characters. Not to be mean towards series creator, but i'm... not exactly happy with Joseph's execution in terms of fighting (not to mention his personality). He and Burn have very few battle scenes (some of which are kinda lame, in all fairness), so i came up with idea to reanimate the battle scenes in which Joseph was - not only i'm curious to see what scenes will look like in my animating style, but i also want to do my catboy justice and give him the attention he deserves.

Mind you, it's still just an idea and i'm not promising that i'll actually do it. It's a matter of time, maybe it will actually happen.

It's probably last time i'm sharing my progress on this animation. From what i've dropped here, i think you have decent idea of what to expect from it.

The progress itself could've been a bit faster than it is now, but i'm taking breaks from day to day so i won't burn out. On the other hand, as you can see on this gif, they are actually paying off.
