HAPPY NEW YEAR❣️ As we embark upon this fresh start for 2025, one of my goals is to create more simplicity in my life. We are currently recovering from a flood in our home due to a burst pipe, and will be undergoing a kitchen renovation in the next month. I've decided to look at it as a blessing rather than a stressful and anxiety inducing event. I've also somehow managed to cook a feast for both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year with half of my kitchen already packed away in boxes (that was an interesting accomplishment- lol), and I am realizing more and more that we don't actually need many of the things we are holding on to. I'm decluttering this year with an entirely new mindset, and I am actually excited about it! What are things you would like to accomplish or work on this year? 🙂

My heart is always happy when I take time to enjoy nature. I grew up climbing trees, and if someone couldn't find me as a child, they usually knew to look UP. I spent many summers climbing all the different trees that I could...grand historic oaks, southern pecan trees, and towering magnolias that were taller than our house. 🌿 What were some of your favorites things to do in the summer as a child?

A favorite holiday memory for you guys. ❤️ This was a few years ago, when we took our kids to NYC to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.🌟 It had been on my bucket list to go since I was a little girl, so I was very grateful we went on our first trip to New York as a family. We stayed at the Hilton on the parade route so that we could see the parade from the warmth of our room while the children sipped hot cocoa and watched from above. They made little signs to hang in the window. It truly was a once in a lifetime memory! What is one of your favorite holiday memories? I'd love to hear (if you feel like sharing).
