Alright I'm going to drop my first 2025 hot take here.

I'm tired of the whole Sonic 3 vs Mufasa thing. My fellow Sonic fans are taking this way too seriously.

Sonic is getting the better critic and audience reception despite Disney making more money.

Disney stuff usually makes more money off of brand recognition, but more often than not its contemporaries are received better recently.

For example, Moana 2 may have made more than The Wild Robot's cinematic lifespan, but TWR was received better.

Instead of spreading hate towards Mufasa let's celebrate our own victories. Critics taking Sonic seriously thanks to Shadow Generations and the movie is huge for a franchise that was once the internet's laughing stock. It's great seeing people enjoy Sonic again after the mediocrity of the 2010s. (Mania and Generations are an exception)

Here's hoping for more great Sonic content.

I don't really have any interest in watching the Game Awards this year.

The one game I did play didn't even make it in the category it was nominated for.

So this drops exactly a month from now and I was thinking of maybe doing a stream or two to celebrate it.

Obviously I need to finish the Tails CD playthrough but I might throw in Generations Revisited in there too.

Three years ago, I broke Mega Man X6 in half by making it as easy as possible.

Now, in the foreseeable future, I am going to play this mess of a game as the developers intended.
