This is my official channel. My name is Roman Ilies. I am a Writer/Director. I enjoy making films or participate in Film/TV projects that challenge aspects of human outlook on the world. I am dedicated to discovering, exploring and sharing diverse human perspectives on life, love, politics, spirituality etc. In my filmmaking and writing career I continuously draw inspiration from other arts: Music, Painting, Choreography, Theatre. Some of the filmmakers that imprinted the most upon me are David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino, Darren Aronofsky, Wong Kar-wai, Ozu, Alain Resnais. I worked and have experience in different aspects of filmmaking from Directing and Cinematography to Editing and VFX.
