I'm pleased to announce that the next "Wheel of the Year" video will soon be entering production! The script is written, and I'm currently waiting on the sun returning to the sky so I can plan a few days of filming.
I'll be visiting quite a few interesting places on the next video, similar in tone and style to my very popular Imbolc documentary. Look out for updates soon!

Yesterday I returned to the site of my most popular documentary by a huge margin. This is the site of the old Butlins camp at Barry Island, South Wales, where the intro and some later segments were filmed for the video.
My Butlin's documentary currently sits at over 142 thousand views, and remains the most frequently watched documentary across the whole channel. It was the amongst the first videos to include the now 'trademark' poetic sections, and was a pure joy to produce. I have since made many videos with the same focus and theme as this video, but none of them have achieved this level of success.
I think it is my flagship video (although Imbolc and Spinning are catching up)!

See this picture of a much younger ME, as well as others like it, in my latest video 'Britain's Zoo Story'.
In this image taken in the wild, I am seen in my natural habitat (known as a 'theme park'), and appear to be draped in the traditional plumage of 'shirt advertising the park I'm at'. Notice the specimen is engaged in the eating of soft served ice cream, but seems ready and waiting for the next ride, the eyes scanning the habitat for signs of queue lines decreasing. This is common behaviour in this species, who here is seen learning such tactics from a very young age.
Ahem.... for REAL commentary on nature and habitat, check out the new video. In the meantime, I've started working on the next one already!

OUT NOW – In 'Britain's Zoo Story' I examine the history, nostalgia and wider purpose of the British Zoo. This was a big project and features many elements that people enjoy from my popular videos. See me visit various locations, invoke the poetic nostalgia of childhood, and tell stories from the past which relate to our relationship with the animal kingdom.
This video was firmly in my 'comfort zone' and forms part of a personal topic for me in many ways. I'm really pleased with the finished result! Please give this one a go and let me know what you think!

Work is going well on the next big documentary, the longest and most 'TV Style' video I have made since last years 'History of the Toilet' video. I wanted to cover all angles on the topic so expect a little bit of everything.
This is me filming a section for the docu, at an amazing Norman font in rural Herefordshire. Plot twist - the documentary has literally nothing to do with churches or fonts!

OUT NOW - In 'The Oracle of the Arcade' I examine the history and mystery of Fortune Telling machines like Zoltar. As well as this, I have a look at the true meaning of fortune telling and what it all means on a larger scale. Expect plenty of seaside nostalgia mixed with a bit of esoteric intrigue!

OUT NOW - In 'Secrets of the Singing Mummy', I examine the history of a mummy called Tjayasetimu, a singer of the temple of Amun. As well as piecing together her story, I examine the role of sound, frequency and vibration in the esoteric Religion of Ancient Egypt, and even have a go at trying to reconstruct her face.
This is a 'voiceover only' documentary where I don't appear in front of the camera. It would be quite hard to get over to Egypt, after all!
