Drum & Bass Mixes Golden Era 96-2010

About this channel and myself,
I was brought up on D&B from an early age mainly influenced by my BIG Bro, listening to his tape packs from 97 Roast,98 Heat etc, I got into mixing when I was 16, getting my first pair of belt driven decks which were an old skool disco DJ's, where to mix and keep in time you need to have both index fingers on each record,(god that was tough).
My claim to fame was mixing back2back with Nicky Blackmarket & MC Dett when I was 18 I will never forget that night, I spent a lot of time listening back to tape packs and mixes from the like of Brockie, Mampi, Kenny Ken, Ed Rush and then trying them out myself picking up the basics, i miss the old days of going to a record shop to get the promos before others and the social side meeting mates there's (all before digital music was about) and having a catch up, my favourite era 1996-2008 I suppose I'm now (old skool) now.
its for the OJ's out there to reminisce and listen back too.
