Merak railway station, full of history with a very important role on Java-Sumatra interisland connection and local society economics and trading, is threatened.
ASDP will demolish and replace the soon to be station's former land into a parking lot for Executive-class port.
KAI have no authority over this despite them being the railway operator, this is because the land is de jure owned by ASDP since the dissolution of PJKA in 1992.
They will also decide to move the terminus station to Cilegon and operate a feeder bus from there to Merak port. This is not ideal as the station's road access is merely a small gangway compared to Merak, and may cause headscratching traffic jams throughout Cilegon city and its nearby towns.

After several considerations and discussion with some of my friends, I decided to NOT unlist the oscilloscope view videos.

Though there would no more new oscilloscopes. I'm sorry that I've disappointed you, I just want to move on.

I decided to retire the "Mulyadi" name, it's getting old. It's not me, it's just an ancient 2016 meme.
So I'll be here with my real name now.
Also wanted to remove any references to chiptunes, once and for all. I don't want to be associated with this hobby anymore. It's slowly degenerating me day by day.

Should I private all my oscviews? Or should I unlist them, so you can still hear them through playlists?

Today in history:
35 years of Bintaro railway tragedy which killed over 139 passengers, 70 of them died inside the coach right after the collision. The rest died either in ambulance or in the hospital.

110 corpses has been identified, 29 remains unidentified to this day.

This massive collision leaves both pulling units destroyed, and the first coach of the express train (which is a 1965 generation Derde-Klaasse with Baggage coach) lost its hull and underframe, immidiately got scrapped in location.

Here's a pic of clearing and evacuation process of the crash, pulled by a BB301.

The Werkspoor's ESS 3200, made 1925 final production 1927. Last commercial operation 1977, one unit were not scrapped, the ESS 3202.

ESS 3202 remained idle in the Manggarai Workshop yards for 31+ years, until a group of railfans called themselves "Indonesian Railway Preservation Society" discovered the locomotive and inforned to the central person of PT. Kereta Api.

The locomotive later cleaned by the group, and then sent into the working shed of Manggarai Workshop to be refurbished.
All the new components, except the transmission which still uses the original parts from Werkspoor, were taken from retired ED101 series EMU.

It was painted blue according to an old Dutch Magazine, and was renumbered to ESS 3201 for some reason despite ESS 3201 being destroyed after the crash in Ratujaya, Depok, 1968.

It was later taken outside the shed and stored in Tanjung Priok Station for a few years until it was serviced as a excursion train, along with Djoko Kendil coaches with a route from Tanjung Priok to Jakarta Kota station in 2014.

The ESS remained idle again for another 8 years, this time under a weather-protected storage shed. While the Djoko Kendil coaches were delivered to Solo for inspection purposes.

8 years later, in 2022, a surprising event where the CEO of Kereta Api Indonesia sent a video on his Twitter showcasing the ESS 3201 moving around the aforementioned shed.
And then, the Djoko Kendil coaches were redelivered to Jakarta.

Railfans were starting to match a puzzle,
The Djoko Kendil is either going to be pulled by the vintage diesel locomotive to commemorate the 77th independence day or it would be pulled by the ESS.

The predictions were right, in 15th of August, PT. KAI themselves announced on their Instagram that a KLB Perjuangan excursion train will run from Jakarta Kota to Tanjung Priok and then to Jatinegara (Meester Cornelis) station to commemorate the 77th independence day.

It was a great day, really great experience, I get to met all my online friends that I've never been before..
And I get to reexperience the classic ED101 series noises that I used to ride everyday to go to school, a shame it had to retire without being refurbished into an air-conditioned trainset.

Soon, there will be extended highlight of this locomotive that aren't in the Dutch Propaganda Spoof.

Hope you have a great day, good evening and goodbye.

Hey, how are doing everyone? I hope you all are doing alright. As you noticed, I haven't upload any videos lately. Yeah, the weather hasn't been good this month so I hadn't had the chance to go outside and hunt more trains.

So, in the meantime, enjoy my edit of Toei 6000 bearing the new KAI Commuter Livery.

This train series (yes, series, not just a set. the entire series) was retired by KAIC (then KCJ), in 2016 due too its aging components and lack of any spare parts so it never got a chance to use this livery.

Yep, this train was made in the 1960s so its parts hasn't been produced anymore since its retirement from Japan in 1999. I'm surprised that it even lasts 15 years (2001-2016) in Indonesia despite all the shortcomings.
