Friends I haven’t been well, that’s why I kept a low profile this week. I’m okay but I think I’m overworking on the computer, which has caused me blood shot eyes and constant dizziness due to my posture and long durations sat at the desk etc, I assume. Optician said my eyes are really really dry and handed me some eye drops. It at least explains the dizziness. However I am live-streaming today but earlier than usual as we have a family gathering today in the afternoon to honour a young family member who sadly passed away recently. But I didn’t want to cancel today’s stream so I shall see you shortly 🙏

Afghanistan Christians - The invisible ordeal: Afghan Christians under #Taliban rule 🇦🇫
Afghanistan’s Christian minority faces a "grave danger" under the Taliban’s interpretation of Sharia law. Reports from early 2026 indicate a brutal attack near Bamiyan, where 24 Hazara Christians were allegedly killed and an underground church was destroyed. For these believers, most of whom are converts from Islam, faith can mean the death penalty.
Survival requires total invisibility and constant vigilance. To avoid exposure and potential execution, many Christians feel forced to attend mosques and move out frequently to avoid detection. This fear is compounded by new Taliban decrees that legalize domestic violence and forms of enslavement, further entrenching a rigid social hierarchy that leaves religious minorities with no legal protection.
Despite recommendations for the U.S. to designate #Afghanistan as a “Country of Particular Concern,” international pressure has had little effect on the Taliban’s leadership. Abandoned by the world, Afghan Christians remain trapped in what the UN describes as a “graveyard for human rights,” where practicing their faith is an everyday ordeal.
