A magical timeless riverbank world, where 5 year old Paddles, a playful but lovable polar bear, and his friends Bracken - an Irish wolfhound, Bridie - a badger and Fagan - a ferret have endless adventures.

The series is based around life on a River Bank - it happens to be the Shannon in Ireland, but it could be the Yangtze in China, the Missisippi in America, the Hudson in Canada, the Seine in Paris, the Thames in London...or any river bank in the world.
