I promise to stop Tetris posting after this, but this is another interpretation of the Tetris theme — this time in 7/8.
This idea had been rolling around in my head since I made the parallel major transposition. Yesterday morning I started playing around with different ways to phrase the melody and yadda, yadda, yadda, here's the full video.

The arrangement features an acoustic ensemble instrumentation consisting of 3 acoustic guitar parts, 1 cello, 1 melodica, 1 flute, and percussion. I've been enjoying experimenting with minimal arrangements like this not only because I like the sound, but they also allow me to work much quicker. There are less things to over-think during the mixing stages and make for a more streamlined work flow. If you want to hear it, there's a link to the video below...

Continuing a recent series of classic game themes transposed to their parallel minor keys, here is the Super Mario Bros. 2 Theme.

The amount of jazzy chromaticism made this one the most challenging one I’ve done so far, but it was a really great exercise in making arrangement decisions that service an end goal.
