Me around family who don’t know I’m autistic on Thanksgiving: Hey! Maybe I’m not autistic after all. I’m making conversation. I’m not shutting down. I’m wearing pants that are way too tight for the occasion. I’m good!
Me the next day: falls asleep for 3 hours on the plane (I never sleep on planes.) Gets home and sleeps for another couple of hours. Gets another full 8 hours of sleep, and wakes up thinking, “you know what would be a nice thing to do today? Sleep!”
