10/19/23 - Should rename the channel "SpongeBob & Miscellaneous" because it's not JUST SpongeBob content. It never has been, but it's really about to not be since I've basically stopped being obsessed with SpongeBob for over a year now. Still love SpongeBob, but... sigh. Too much to get into.

Why this silly little Funko Pop means a lot to me… ⬇️

25 years of SpongeBob, and it’s been roughly 13 years of it being my favorite show. In fact, I’d dare to say it was my FIRST favorite show. Words struggle to describe how I feel about what _should_ be only a show, but is so, so much more.

THIS is my favorite SpongeBob figure. 😌 Why, you may ask? Because not only is it an iconic gag from the _classic_ SpongeBob season that is Season 1, it also represents my FIRST memories of watching the show. It may have been Help Wanted, or it may have been MuscleBob BuffPants; I’m not sure. But when I think back to my earliest and vaguest memories of SpongeBob-watching—(all the way back in the day when my parents didn’t even want me to watch it)—it was the funny idea that this character couldn’t even lift a weight bar with _stuffed animals_ 🧸 on it that really stuck out to me. Quirky, cartoony, absurd…

This was shorter than I usually write, but I’m sure y’all don’t wanna read an essay, so. I’ll conclude with: _SpongeBob gets me. And I get SpongeBob._ 😎 HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY TO A CLEVER, FUNNY, AND TIMELESS CARTOON! 2️⃣5️⃣
