On the walk back from the park, my son looked up at me and said, “This is the best day of my life.”

Last week, I took him on a one-on-one date. He’d been asking for weeks to go out together, just the two of us.

We went to a park near our house and played for almost an hour. He savoured every second.

I won’t lie—finding the time and energy wasn’t easy. After work, I’m usually exhausted and just want to relax. But each child needs their own personal attention. My wife and I try to make time for these little dates, and to them, it makes all the difference.

I recently heard something that completely shifted my perspective on parenting: As fathers, we feel like we need to work harder to provide more for our kids. But in reality, they don’t care about material things. What they truly want is connection.

And to be honest, that one hour with my son was more rewarding than any big deal I could close at work.

My kids don’t care how much or how little money I have. They just care that I love them and give them wholesome attention. I’d assume yours are the same.

I once heard a regretful billionaire say: “Being rich means your kids still want to spend time with you when they grow up.”

Here’s what I think is driving Trump’s motivation for taking over Gaza:

The U.S. gets a strategic military base in the Middle East, something it desperately needs after withdrawing from Afghanistan.

A massive reconstruction project worth billions boosts the American economy.

Trump cements his legacy as the one who finally solved the Palestinian problem.

Everyone wins.

I wasn’t born into a religious family. In fact, I used to be in the nightclub business. I spent countless nights until 5 AM, surrounded by the worst of the worst, living a life that was completely empty and meaningless. I stood for everything a man shouldn’t stand for.

One day, I decided to make a reality show about my nightclub business. As I stood in a room with thousands of people watching the premiere on the big screen, I was disgusted with what I saw. I realized I needed a new way to live.

I walked out of my own premiere party, found the nearest exit, and went home. That night, I started searching for truth. I reconnected with my Jewish roots and found God. I took a year off and went to study in Israel. Shortly after, I got married.

Today, I have five beautiful children. My life is full of meaning, my faith keeps me on the right path, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the One Above. A life without God is a life not worth living.

I’m at a business conference in Chicago, and there was a Jewish man who hadn’t put on Tefillin. But time is money…

I thought to myself, if I stop and take 10 minutes to help him put on Tefillin, I’ll miss out on getting customers.

Then I remembered what our sages teach us: “When you make God’s will your will, He will make your will His will.” – Ethics of Our Fathers

In other words, if I do what God wants in this world, He’s going to do what I want, which is to help me grow my business.

To be honest, the beginning of the conference was going slow for me. But after I took the time to help this young man, all of a sudden, things started to flow.

Lesson learned: You can never lose by giving to God. He does not remain in debt.
