in the time when the nepal's government should be standing with brave youth who dared to speak their voices against the corruption happening, they instead choosed to kill, abuse and violate their own people just to silence the truth and the reality thats been ignored for so long. and my question is that whats the point of banning social media ( 23+ social media apps were banned during the protest ) when they know that it allows us to see the reality from miles away, its like stealing people's right to speech to protect the image of your country worldwide. the hypocrisy is so cheap that the "ordinary" students are beinh told that they cannot go to abroad after 12 to continue their studies, while the nepo babies are enjoying the luxuries by the money stolen from the poor middle class people. not to ignore the fact that the women who choose to speak against this were facing unspeakable violence inside their own household.
i saw MANY people saying that the protest took place only when social media was banned all over nepal, but who's gonna tell them that these people were going through the same unfair treatment for years now, the ban was only a spark to the fire.
countless children had been killed during all this, and many were infact hidden and i guess non reported. this is the government which shamelessly pushes its citizens to face a "punishment" for speaking the truth while the childrens who have seen no struggle are living their best life in other countries.
im genuinely thankful to the ones who are speaking about this situation. please remember that your silence only strengthens the corrupt.
if lisa bought the award with money, or if vma decided to make her win then bts would also have gotten awards with money in the past and won the vmas by their wish. bts has won the category for about three times, so i would like to ask that where was all this talk until now? if jimin had won, you guys would've said "armys power" cause when bts win, its the army's who have done all the work but when blinks have spent days on voting for lisa than its "fake". so don't come here saying that "omg we voted so hard why didn't we win" well thats cause lilies nd blinks voted more? why are these so called army's suddenly trying to diss bp js because we voted and we won? like calm tf down?

punjab has always stood up for others in times of need, and yet, when punjab was drowning no one dare to take a stand for them or even spread awareness. its crazy how the mainstream media was busy posting memes on their pages instead of helping the people ( and animals ) that were miserably dying. even after all this, with the biggest of hearts, punjabis picked each other up and stood strong. this is a reminder that humanity should not be selective and the courage of punjab deserves respect not recognition.
