As much as I never wanted to make this post when I got the news today it’s time I came out and say that the Paper survivor Movie is on hold.

On September 8th 2025 last night my great grandad had a stroke. He also has dementia and is stuck in a care home. I really don’t know how to feel about this but I’m heavily upset hearing of an hour ago.

It made me in tears when I got the news during dinner. My gran went up last week and it was when he turned 90. He barely spoke and when he did it was only once, and his final words were “it’s time you let go”. I’m currently in a mental state and depressed. Don’t expect the movie to come out Friday but when it does it’ll most likely be a tribute to him.

He was diagnosed with dementia in 2023 and only saw him once in the care home after he kept going out of the house at night and going missing. Apparently his main goal was to live to 90. I’ve always wanted the paper survivor movie to be a collaboration with other creators within the paper show movie. Now with this news that came out it’s now the main reason why. I want this movie to now not only to be the paper survivor S2 final but a tribute to the one that had been there for the past 13 and a quarter years of my life.

Rest well Great grandad. When it is time to go fly high. I’ll miss you and always will……
