That is how close we are to "Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit - The Musical" finally airing!

I'll keep it brief.
I am EXHAUSTED from editing, but I'm really happy with the work I've put out this Easter break. I've already exported a final draft of 9 MINUTES of the total ≈18 minutes of the video, and it's over a whopping 3 GIGABYTES of data big. The other 9 minutes are almost finished, and I'll go into detail about those 9 minutes below later.

Unfortunately, however, I have a plane flight to catch, and will be flying back to my university in Europe by the time you're reading this update; this means that I won't be able to finish the last 10% today and probably won't be able to release the video by tomorrow as originally planned.

As Sunday, April 27th, is the 33rd anniversary Kirby's Dreamland, I would love to release the video by then, but I can't guarantee that I'll be able to. If not this Sunday, then I'll 100% be able to release the video by Saturday, May 3 next week. Don't worry though, as I'll be sure to alert everyone to when the watch party starts at least a few hours before the premiere.

Here's a list of video parts I still need to edit, mostly being within that other 9 minutes of incomplete video that I mentioned previously. I'll keep things cryptic so that you guys don't get spoiled:

- Subtitles for 2nd Part
- Subtitles for Middle Part (Optional)
- A1 (I finished both instances of A2 yestesrday)
- Gameplay footage tweaking for 1st Part, Middle and 2nd Part
- Add Sr. P Kirbys to ending???

With that being said, I'd really appreciate your prayers guys! Peak is almost finished and I can't wait to finally post my greatest work yet!

Good day to you all!

I hope your Easter vacations have been lovely so far, and I am happy to report that progress towards finishing:
TWO PLANETS APPROACH THE ROCHE LIMIT - THE MUSICAL
is going both swimmingly and rather quickly. I estimate that about 70% of the editing workload is done.

The pure song itself has already been completed, and an sfx-less, clean version of the piece will be released alongside the musical - an unlisted video that you may add to your YouTube playlist for your listening convenience.

In total, the main video itself will roughly be ≈18 minutes long...
HOLY MOTHER OF VOID TERMINA!!! 18 MINUTES-LONG?!?
Yes, you heard me right. Not only is this musical aiming to be my greatest video ever; it is also raring to be my longest "Kirby with Lyrics" video yet!

However, as you have already inferred, 70% is NOT 100%. It is unfortunate and with a heavy heart that I must announce that the video WILL NOT be releasing today. Thankfully, the 70% of editing that has already been completed consists of the most challenging parts of the musical. Attached below are screenshots of the audio-mixing and text placement for some of that 70%.

Though I wish I could show you more, as with all theatrical experiences, it is best to go in blind. I can assure you though, that truly, I couldn't be more proud of the show-stopper I've made.

Every line lovingly written and performed; every animation precise and with purpose.

If by some miracle, I am able to rush through the last 30% of work, then you can expect a premiere drop tomorrow, April 20 at the same 10am EST. Let's not raise our expectations too high, though. I would much rather be slow and delicate with my work, over giving you all a rushed and imperfect final piece. So, if I cannot finish the video by tomorrow, then I believe that April 26 (Saturday) next week at the same release time will be a good show-date for everyone to be able to attend. Fingers-crossed for tomorrow, though🤞

I ask for your patience, and for your prayers. Both are sincerely appreciated, especially now as we leave the season of Lent and enter the glory of Easter. Please spend your precious time with your families and be merry.
