11 words that summarise Tony Robbins 3 day seminar for me.
Another inspiring quote but concretely what did I get out of it?
I recognised the beliefs that I had that did not serve me. They'd come from things people had said, friends, family, ex colleagues, some even from bosses.
What had they cost me?
- Promotions going to others because I daren't ask.
- Asking for leaders I respected to mentor me and accelerating growth.
- Not using any of the training budget set aside by HR.
- And 10 years wasted in corporate while I could have been starting my own business or side hustle.
So what do you do when you identify those beliefs?
Once we're able to find those beliefs, throw them in the trash we're able to do phenomenal things.
Day 1 of Tony's seminar, around midnight I walked barefoot on Tony's burning hot coals, known as the "Firewalk" (google it)
No blisters or injuries, it felt like walking on popcorn.
When you can do that, you're not scared of putting yourself out there on socials, asking for what you want, or going for to close the deal.
Was it worth $5000 ?
That depends how much you believe in yourself.
Just through getting the room with the same type of people, I met phenomenal growth minded people including the owner of a Private Jet company who invited me to take my first flight privately and has taught me a phenomenal amount about his journey.
So if you're looking to step it up into a new job, finally start the venture, or step up your business, the common denominator is that people need to know you.
"If they don't know you, they can't hire you."
For me, the easiest way to get know is to be googlable, and you can get to the top for free.

The first thing people look at is not your photo.
It's your headline (the area under your names)
AI Search engines and Google Search will also index the keywords that you place here.
So if you've written CEO, Head of... then that's what you'll come up for.
It's free, I suggest you make it count.
The headline serves two powerful purposes:
→ Summarize - It tells the reader exactly what you’re all about in one quick informational bite.
→ Soft Sell - It gives you an opportunity to introduce your offer, your unique value, or the results you help people achieve.

For example:

💡 Pro Tip: Don’t waste this space with just your job title. Make it a powerful elevator pitch for what you do and who you serve. After all, it's free SEO.

Somebody's always watching.
Last week a mentee who is starting out and getting only 180 views on their posts reached out and told me he has a booked a sales call.
It was from someone they knew from a young age but hadn't spoken to in 2 decades. They had the sales call and the person went ahead and signed a $2500 deal.
They were surprised but I wasn't, I've seen this over and over again.
Fun fact: 5% of your organic followers are ready to do business with you.
We call them lurkers. They never comment, they never like, what they see your content and browse your profile up and down, frequently, on the border of reaching out.
Just like when someone is looking over at you and you go over, say hello and break the ice, we need to do that online too.
And now I'm going to tell you how.
1. Go to the analytics section of your profile
2. Click on Profile Views
3. Go down the list of who's viewed your profile and message them (connection or not)
4. If you don't know them, here's one example you can use "Hi X thanks for checking out my profile, did you get the information you were looking for?"
Break the ice, and watch what happens.

They're living their own path, or sometimes they're on autopilot too, living salary to salary without a long term vision on an end goal.
The book "Nine Figure Mindset" by Brandon Dawson is a great book to shake up your potential, a reminder that we don't need a university skill or even an education to exceed everyone around us.
Even Mr. 10X me is thinking too small.
