▶ What is BBS Buddhist Broadcasting?
The Buddhist Broadcasting System (BBS), established on May 1, 1990, is the sole public service broadcasting foundation of the Korean Buddhist community. Founded through the donations of 20 million Buddhists, BBS began as a terrestrial radio station and expanded in 2008 with BBS TV to become a comprehensive Buddhist media platform dedicated to Dharma propagation through broadcasting. As a non-profit foundation, it operates primarily on donations and advertising revenue, returning all profits to its mission of broadcasting the Buddhist teachings.
