No more will “Hawaiian” be a call sign broadcast between aircraft and air traffic control. Since October 29th, all Hawaiian Airlines flights now use the “Alaska” callsign as the Alaska Air takeover continues.

Tune in this Wednesday for what was my last ever flight on “Hawaiian” (not the airline but under that callsign). While the brand is thankfully staying, a massive part of the Hawaiian identity has been retired 🌺

Hi everyone, brief update on video plans.

Due to personal reasons, I’ve decided against publishing the two previously-planned videos from a weekend trip to California I did back in June. I didn’t think the quality was up to par and therefore have scrapped both.

That said, I’m moving straight to publishing the videos from my most recent trip back to the Hawaiian Islands this month, and hope for the first of those seven to go up next week.

August 15th crept up on me once again and today marks 13 years since this channel was created! It’s been a long journey with many changes and lessons learned but I’m thankful for the connections I’ve made and support that I’ve received through these videos.

While this channel has largely been a hobby of mine, it has been amazing hearing from people such as friends and even people who recognize me that they enjoy these videos.

Even though life continues to get busy with lots more responsibilities, I don’t plan on hanging up the jersey just yet. Thank you for all your continued support and I hope I can keep on delivering!

How’s it going everyone, brief update here. I went back to Hawai’i for a few days and just got back, hence another week of no videos.

I plan to resume uploads next week and then hopefully carry on as normal with time permitting. The videos from this recent trip will also hopefully be rolling out within the coming weeks too.
