Raised in Salvador, Bahia, the mecca of Afro-Brazilian culture in Brazil, Los Angeles during the 90's "g-funk era,” and Boston, the city of hip-hop underdogs, Xandi’s hip-hop influences are diverse, ranging from dusty, sample-based boom bap, to hints of g-funk, to modern, sample-free beats featuring live instruments, analog synths & plug-ins.

The underground Hip-Hop scene has always been #1, but collabos have led in interesting directions, such as: future soul/R&B, dancehall & afrobeats.
