I Will Teach You To Be Rich

Secret wealthy investments? They’re trash.

If you think that wealthy people have access to these secret investments that get them 10 times the returns, you’re wrong.

Yes, wealthy people have access to different investments, but most of those investments are B.S. They’re larded up with fees. They’re horribly illiquid. They’re terrible.

The best investments that wealthy people have access to are almost always simple, low-cost index funds.

What actually separates people who build wealth isn’t access — it’s having a simple system they understand and stick with.

Inside Money Coaching, we help you build that kind of low-cost, no-nonsense investing plan. Join today: iwt.com/moneycoaching-ct

A paid-off house sounds amazing.
No mortgage.
No payments.
Total peace of mind.

But here’s the uncomfortable question most people never ask: What did it cost you to get there?

A lot of people aggressively pay down their mortgage thinking it’s the smartest financial move they can make.

But if your mortgage rate is 3–5%, every extra dollar you send to the bank could have been invested instead — where historically it could grow far more over time.

That difference doesn’t just add up, it compounds.

Over decades, that “safe” decision can quietly mean giving up hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential wealth.

In this video I walk through:

• when paying down your mortgage actually makes sense
• why liquidity matters more than most people realize
• the simple math to compare investing vs prepaying your mortgage
• the question you should ask before sending extra money to the bank

A paid-off house can feel good.

But feeling good and building wealth aren’t always the same thing.

Watch the full breakdown before you make your next extra mortgage payment.

I Will Teach You To Be Rich

We live in this paradoxical society.

We spend our whole lives trying to gather as much money as possible…but then most of us do nothing with it. We are taught to save our money but not how to spend it.

There are plenty of people that are living under their means solely because they think that’s what they’re “supposed to do.” Money isn’t just for saving.

I want everyone to have a vision for spending on the things you love. Once you do, then you can cut costs mercilessly on the things you don’t. That’s the whole process.

Most of us have never articulated what we love spending on, and we’ve never allowed ourselves to imagine the possibility that we might be able to spend even more on it. Instead, we are taught that saving money is the ultimate virtue.

But that’s not the point of money. Of course you should save and invest and pay off your debt. But you should also use your money to live a rich life today, without any guilt.

Most of us approach money from a defensive position. But there’s a better approach.

Play offense with your money by tracking these 4 numbers:
1. Fixed costs
2. Savings
3. Investments
4. Guilt-Free Spending

Knowing your numbers will allow you to build some flexibility in your life and spending. You can’t predict everything. That’s life. But if you track these 4 numbers, when things do come up unexpectedly, you won’t be completely thrown off financially.

Start tracking your 4 key numbers and start taking control of your finances. And if you want more help directly from me with live Q&A each month, join my Money Coaching program today: iwt.com/moneycoaching-ct

How We Design Our Rich Life — Step by Step

My wife and I plan our upcoming year every December.
→ What’s our theme?
→ Where do we want to travel?
→ What kind of experiences do we want to have?
→ Who do we want to bring with us?

We don’t leave it to chance. We DESIGN it.

So here’s how you can do this, too.

1️⃣ Step 1: Pick one or two Money Dials you want to turn up this year. (2nd slide)

2️⃣ Step 2: Block the time on your calendar right now to plan for it. Don’t say, “I’ll take a trip someday.” Give it five minutes of thinking. Example: Probably we’re going to do it in June because that’s when we have time off. Probably it’s going to be the last week of June, etc.

3️⃣ Step 3: Set aside the money. Estimate how much it will cost. Include things like hotel, travel, whatever. Or if it’s a restaurant, look up the prices. Automate a small transfer each month into your Rich Life fund. Even $50 a month adds up.

That's how your best ideas become REAL experiences instead of someday wishes.

Remember, a Rich Life isn’t accidental. It’s designed. If you want help turning these steps into a system that actually runs in the background, we’ll show you how in Money Coaching. Join today: iwt.com/moneycoaching-ct

I Will Teach You To Be Rich

You’ve been lied to about money your entire life.

Not by scammers. But by people who actually thought they were helping:
“Rent is throwing money away.”
“Avoid credit cards.”
“Follow your passion.”

Sounds harmless, right? But some of this advice is straight-up expensive.

In this video, I break down 7 money lies that keep people stressed, stuck, and secretly losing out on hundreds of thousands of dollars.

If you’ve been doing “all the right things” and still feel behind, this is the video to watch.

I Will Teach You To Be Rich

Think about two people.

One goes through life just winging it. They’re scrolling Instagram, they’re booking last-minute trips, they’re buying a bunch of stuff at Target, and then wondering, “Where did all my money go?”

They are constantly reacting to whatever the world throws at them and whatever is put in front of them. “Ooh, I think I’ll buy that ’cause it popped up on my feed.”

Now imagine someone else. Every year they sit down and say, “What really matters to me this year? What’s my theme? Is my theme travel or slow mornings or health or time with family?”

And once that is clear, they put it on their calendar. They put aside money for it. They design their life around those priorities.

That’s intentional luxury.

When you don’t decide what matters, the world decides for you. Your calendar fills up. Your money leaks out. And at the end of the year, you’re left wondering why nothing you care about actually happened.

Intentional luxury starts by choosing a theme and designing your life around it before the year begins.

If you want your money to support those priorities instead of reacting to whatever shows up on your feed, Money Coaching helps you build a system that makes that intentional by default. Join today: iwt.com/moneycoaching-ct

I Will Teach You To Be Rich

When I was in my early 20s, I had to take the subway because that’s what I could afford. (I still take it because I love public transportation.)

But my dream always was, “Man, when it’s August and it is sweltering down there, maybe, just maybe, I can splurge for a cab or a Lyft.” That was luxury to me, and eventually, when I made enough, I could do that.

Later, I upgraded to a car service at the airport. At the airport, of course, I discovered lounges. Suddenly there’s wifi, food, and a quiet place to sit.

For flights, I used to take coach. That’s the only way I traveled—it was the only way I could afford to do it. But I decided after a certain amount, I’m gonna fly business class. In fact, I made a rule for myself: any flight over 4 hours, business class. I’m not even thinking about it.

Now, these upgrades did not happen overnight. They were incremental. And the framework here was basic, upgraded, even more upgraded. That’s the system. You don’t need to do it all at once. You pick one thing you love to spend money on—your Money Dial—turn it up 10%, and see how it feels.

This is how a Rich Life really gets built: gradually, intentionally, one upgrade at a time.

Money Coaching helps you choose the right dial, turn it up thoughtfully, and build a system that grows with you. Join today: iwt.com/moneycoaching-ct

I Will Teach You To Be Rich

If I ask cheap people, “Do you think you’re cheap?”, I get responses like, “I’m not cheap…I’m selective!”.

No. You’re cheap.

A lot of people think the point of money is to save as much as possible...WRONG. A Rich Life means designing an amazing life and using money to live it as meaningfully as you can.

Use your money to live a Rich Life that is meaningful to you. If it’s a beautiful cashmere sweater, a road trip across the United States, or a weekly yoga class — spend extravagantly on the things you love (as long as you cut costs mercilessly on the things you don’t).

This is what I call Conscious Spending.

Conscious spending will teach you to focus your spending and saving on things you LOVE, not whatever you happen to spend out of habit.

Don’t get overwhelmed by the idea that you need to create a massive finance system. You don’t! All you need is to just get a simple version ready today and work to improve it over time.

I'll show you exactly how to do this in my Money Coaching program. Join today: iwt.com/moneycoaching-ct
