See you in the middle row! 🍿

Two years ago, a girl came up to me while bussing tables at a small Italian restaurant in Cypress and told me she was an artist and my marketing videos helped her. A year later, we met again at the same restaurant and she told me she started a band with her new friend and they had their first show that week. A few months ago, I was at an industry party and overheard some big music agents talking about how everyone was fighting tooth & nail to sign this new pop duo named the two lips.

I was like, “wait — I KNOW THEM.” The girl I met bussing tables was @jewlzjewlzjewlz (www.instagram.com/jewlzjewlzjewlz/) but now she had become 1/2 of the new pop duo @the2lips (www.instagram.com/the2lips/) alongside her friend, @andreaflwrss (www.instagram.com/andreaflwrss/), who she met at a Lizzy McAlpine concert.

Now they are opening for Sabrina Carpenter in London and booked for Coachella.

This is such a special episode to me. Hear more about the major pop stars reaching out to The Two Lips & more about their journey from concert friends to real pop stars on Thursday’s episode of “Middle Row w Coco Mocoe”

Every “middle row” interview is my favorite and so sacred but this one was truly one of my top experiences since doing this show. I found ‪@rosegraymusic‬ "Louder, Please" album from a Spotify playlist and clicked on the song, “Party People”, because the cover art looked like a euro summer on the beach. What followed next was months of falling in love with an artist and album that perfectly captured the feeling I had been chasing my whole life: to be in the heart of the action.

Since filming she has appeared alongside Kesha on their new song, “Attention”, and she is set to begin her US tour.

I’m so honored to say I’m one of Rose Gray’s first ever video interviews as she continues to rise.

Coconuts, I hope you love the episode as much as I loved filming. Out at 11 am PST / 1 pm ET 📺🍿 See you in the middle row!

Tomorrow!! The next batch of "Middle Row" is rolling out and we are hitting the ground freaking running, coconuts, with ‪@kyliecantrall‬ as the first guest. So insane to say.

Kylie rose to fame on various Disney shows like the “Descendants”. After her Descendants song, “Red”, went viral last year, she began getting ready to release her debut EP “Boy”.

In this episode, we break down:

- her “Boy for a Day” + “Denim” music videos
- Hollywood Hair Theory
- the Disney-to-Pop Star pipeline
& more ❤️

This will be out at 11 am PST on Sunday on YouTube + Spotify 📺 💚

Hi coconuts! Can you guess who the upcoming episode of "Middle Row" will be with? 👀 🌺

Hint: She got a shout out from Elton John last week.

This will be her first sit-down, video interview ever. She is going to be major.

Excited for you to see 🍿

Adéla will be the first guest on the new season of "Middle Row w Coco Mocoe" -- out tomorrow 🍿 This will be her first, sit-down interview ever! Coconuts can say they found her before she broke mainstream.

For the first time in an interview, she opens up about:

- Appearing on "Pop Star Academy" + her relationship with the girls in KATSEYE
- Major artists who have reached out to her since appearing on the show + putting out her solo music
- The hidden symbolism in the "Superscar" music video about the under belly of the music industry
- Her sun, moon and rising in astrology, of course

Coming Sunday morning!

Let me know in the comments what other rising stars we should have on the next installment of "Middle Row" ⬇️

What do Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii and Chappell Roan all have in common? They have all had rumors swirl of them being "industry plants" the moment they find success.

Today's episode of "Ahead of the Curve" is about industry plants. Do they exist? What can we learn from them, if so?

The episode is on YouTube and Spotify but extended version and comments are only on my best-selling Substack:

If I can convince 10,000 people to skip coffee tomorrow and instead donate $5, then we can raise $50,000 for the Lyle family.

The Lyle's lost their youngest son in 2020 and were just getting back on their feet. Candy Lyle was set to retire this year after working with veterans for 40+ years. Then in the first week of 2025, they lost their home in the Altadena fire.

I was at their home last summer for a celebration and brought my fancy camera but I was too shy to take many pics. Today I regret not having any photos to send them of their beautiful home that is gone.

You can donate to their gofundme at the top of my linketree. Thank you ❤️
