Hello, We are Jason & Kara of the Everlanders, Follow along as go from the early stages of building our off-grid home on wheels, to selling our house and taking our expedition truck full time on the road!
Having enjoyed years of off-grid and back road camping in various campers, but never finding one that was ideal, we set out to build our own. Modeled closely after the infamous Turtle V, we secured an F-550 with the venerable International 7.3L Diesel. The living quarters are made from an aluminum exoskeleton with honeycomb composite panels bonded to the inside faces.
In 2018 we sold everything, left Canada, and headed south, through the United States, Mexico, and throughout Central America. In 2022 we shipped our Rig from Panama to Colombia over the Darian Gap. Now heading south through Chile towards the Southern most tip of South America.
