I finished watching Cry-Baby (1990) on demand tonight and it was a great musical movie. A prim and proper schoolgirl goes against her mother's wishes when she dates a motorcycle riding juvenile delinquent. Johnny Depp was good in the movie. This movie took place at my home state, Maryland. Very good movie right here.

Sometimes I think back to that weekend in March when the Snow White remake came out, I felt so good that I skipped it. I didn't want to have any involvement in seeing it, because I've been done with Disney live action remakes after The Little Mermaid (2023). I don't care about Peter Dinklage's comments about that dwarf change. If he's still getting cast in future films, nothing is getting exposed so there's no reason to hate him permanently due to that Snow White dwarf controversy.

I got no new movies to see in theaters this weekend. I heard the new Conjuring movie has been receiving a mixed reception from critics like the last main film from 2021. The first two Conjuring movies are the good ones. I never saw the Annabelle or Nun movies. I heard the first Nun sucked, so I don't think I'm missing out on anything for now. It's gonna be a chill weekend for me on Friday after work and this Saturday. 😌
