James Peace: Born in Paisley, Scotland, 28th September 1963
Study, as the youngest ever full-time student at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and Glasgow University 1980-85.
Main prizes awarded: Diploma in the TIM composition competition, Rome (2000), an award from the Ibla Foundation in New York (2002), Commemorative Medal (First Class) of the International Piano Duo Association, Tokyo (2002), Gold Medal of the Académie de Lutèce in Paris (2005).
Major tours of Germany, China/Japan, Scandinavia, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, Greece and Holland.
