Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. If you're wondering where I am, I'm making a long explainer on Zionism. It's going to have the usual long sweep of history, from the beginnings, and then all the way through until the establishment of Israel and modern day politics. Honestly, I'm not even close to being done. I've produced about 35 minutes so far, and it's probably going to have another 30-45 minutes on top of that. I guess that's basically it. This is to say hi, give you an update, and let you all know I'm still alive and working.

Hey everyone, have a happy New Year. It seems like 2024 was a bit of a weird year all around, at least for a lot (most?) of us. I'm one of those idiots that actually sincerely makes New Year's resolutions and actually tries to keep them. They're normally more specific, but this year it's quite general. I'm going to try to have the best year I can next year. Socially, privately, publicly, all around. I think we obviously don't have control over everything, but we can do a lot to make the most out of what happens within our own lives. So, with some effort things can get better.

Regardless, have a great New Year and take care of yourself.

Hey everyone, if you didn't catch it, I posted here a couple weeks ago and felt out interest in a Project 2025 video. Feedback to cover it was so strong that I stopped work on my ongoing project and switched to covering that. I read more than 500 pages out of their book and was taking notes to go into production, then saw that their director stepped down from the strong ongoing backlash against it.

I think that's a cue for me to stop covering it and go back to my original plan and cover Iran next. If Project 2025 keeps being relevant in the future I can always come back and pick up where I left off.

Sorry if you wanted to see a video on that from me, but I also think the Iran video will be quite strong, so I'm happy to be able to focus on it.

Hey everyone, I haven't posted here in a while, so I thought I'd reach out and give an update. I'm sitting down today to start recording my next piece, which will probably sit around the 22-30 min length and will be on Iran and Shi'a Islam.

I'll also be recording a quick members & Patreon video that will basically be philosophizing about a conspiratorial form of postmodernism that I've been seeing. I think that will be out by this weekend.

I'm also keeping up with events as I'm sure the rest of you are. There's so much going on these days that it can be difficult to decide what to cover and what to let pass. One obvious subject that seems in my wheelhouse is to make a video explaining Project 2025. I'm debating it, but it's also been heavily covered and explained elsewhere, so I might pass. I think it has the benefit, unlike something like Critical Race Theory, of being academically contained within a single document. So that makes it much more straightforward to research and cover (which makes it less interesting to me). I still might do it anyway based on events and demand.
