Well here goes Crosman 2240 grip set version 2. Made a huge mistake on the first set and had to scrap them. Learned from my mistake and started on a new set. Got the rough cut and shaping in. Now for the slow and steady process of profiling them for the correct fit and feel. Using Canary wood. I love the bloodlines in the grain. I can’t wait until I put a finish on these and it will really pop!
Finally had the opportunity to break out the Custom Shop Crosman 2240 and do some 10 meter shooting. It’s always fun to use this platform. Great consistent shooter.
My goal when designing this knife was to create a functional blade you could use in the outdoors at a affordable price. If your looking for your next knife that is one tough hombre. Looks like Crosman will be releasing a 100 year commemorative 362 with a wooden stock and metal breech. This does look interesting. I have the standard 362 and it’s a great platform for the price. What’s your thoughts?
