Hello, I'm Paul Greenwood, a designer and creative from Yorkshire, UK.

I create Tools and tutorials for creator businesses. On this channel, I share knowledge of design; how to develop a YouTube channel and tips for business owners. I help creators build brands, better content and influence online. Here you'll find tutorials on Adobe, design and YouTube stuff.

I'm a Yorkshireman doing my best to create a living, sharing my journey and making a good life for myself and my family. I operate from a very much 'real-life' perspective to having a YouTube channel. I try to post most weeks but honestly, being a parent, running a business and looking after my health comes before posting content.

I'm also a DJ, beat-maker, realist, traveller, coffee snob, foodie, child of the 80s, lifelong learner, reader, part Jedi / part Ron Burgundy. I prefer story over action. John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore are wizards. I trust philosophers over politicians.

Hey!

A while ago, I created a beginner-friendly YouTube course to help creatives get started and build momentum on the platform—step by step.

Looking back now… some of it makes me cringe a bit. 😅
Why? Because video standards have come a long way since then—and so have I.

BUT—here’s the thing:
Despite the slightly dated style, the core lessons still work. If you’ve been thinking about starting a YouTube channel (or finally uploading that first video), this course will walk you through it—from setting up your channel to publishing with purpose.

And because I’m aware it’s a little retro now…

👉 You can grab the entire course right now for just £7.50 (around $9.95).

That’s the lowest I’ve ever priced it, and honestly, it’s still packed with value.

Take a look here:
paulgreenwood.thinkific.com/courses/BeginnerYouTub…

Whether you’re a visual artist, musician, designer, or just curious—YouTube is still one of the best platforms to share your work and grow an audience.

This could be your starting point.
No fluff. No overwhelm. Just clear steps and a gentle push forward.

Cheers,
Paul

For over a month, I have been creating a single video for my YouTube channel. This one has been the most labour-intensive of all the 200+ videos on my channel so far. YouTube has become something I am hugely passionate about—I spend much of my waking life either creating content for it or consuming content from it. It’s even a place where my kids and I connect over things we find interesting and funny.

As a creative multi-disciplinarian, making YouTube videos ticks a lot of boxes for me. It pushes my abilities, forces me to problem-solve, and allows me to draw on over 25 years of creative experience. Throughout those years, I have always had a dedicated space to create—whether it was a room at my parents’ house while at university or a back-bedroom at home. But as the years passed, those rooms gradually filled with little people wanting their own space. Office no more…

After seven years of working from home—including some of that time in lockdown, when my office became a school—I can finally say I have a creative workspace to call my own. I would call it an office, but in reality, it’s more of a YouTube set. The choices I’ve made aren’t what you’d typically find in a standard office—things like specialised lighting, acoustic treatment, and backdrops, for example. It’s a space to work, but not in the traditional sense.

If you’d like to see how I transformed an empty box into my new YouTube Creator Workspace, the video will be premiering this Friday at 3pm. I hope you enjoy it!

Creating videos for the world is both a privilege and a joy. Knowing that nearly 2,000 real people from all corners of the planet believe in what I create enough to hit that subscribe button is deeply humbling. But it’s the 74,400 views this month alone that truly tell the story.

Each view represents someone taking a step on their creative journey, seeking knowledge, or looking for inspiration. That’s why I make these videos: to educate, empower, and help others progress.

With 732,541 views overall to date, I’m incredibly proud—not to boast, but to celebrate the impact these videos have had on so many people around the globe.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to more learning, creating, and growing together!

I'm super excited to see what capabilities the new Adobe packages have to offer.
Has anyone tested them out yet?
What's your opinion?
