Filmmaking isn’t about degrees it’s about what you bring to the table. No one on set asks for your certificate; they look at your work, your vision, and your ability to execute. Instead of chasing validation, focus on sharpening your skills, creating a portfolio that proves your talent, and constantly expanding your knowledge. A degree won’t get you hired your work will. So pick up the pen, the camera, whatever tool you need, and start creating.

A story in your head isn’t a story it’s just a thought. A script half-written isn’t a script it’s just an attempt. Writers aren’t made by ideas; they’re made by what they finish. The draft that frustrated you, the script you rewrote ten times, the sentence you couldn’t get right finishing is what turns struggle into art.

What’s that one project you need to finish? Drop it in the comments.

Every great film started as a script someone doubted. That uncertainty? It’s part of the process. The difference between a script that stays on the shelf and one that lights up the screen is the courage to push through, refine, and believe in your own vision.

You wrote this script for a reason. You saw something in it. Now, it’s time to back yourself the way you back your characters.

Have you ever felt this way about your writing? Drop a comment and let’s talk about it!

Rewriting is where your story truly takes shape. Just like in cricket, you get unlimited chances to swing until you hit the perfect shot. Writing isn’t about getting it right the first time it’s about refining, improving, and making each draft stronger.

Every revision brings you closer to your best work. Keep rewriting, keep swinging, and trust the process.

Life, much like writing, is a constant process of editing. The first draft is never perfect, and neither is the path we walk. Don’t be afraid to remove what no longer adds value whether it’s old habits, doubts, or things that weigh you down. Growth comes from refining, rewriting, and shaping your story into something stronger. The toughest cuts often lead to the most powerful transformations. Keep what serves you, let go of what doesn’t, and craft a life that reads exactly how you want it to.

Back in the day, when I was shooting my short film Paanchika 🎥 in Kharaghoda village, I got the chance to work closely with the local people.

I had cast two girls, Anjali and Aarti 👧👧, for the film. Every evening, I’d sit with their families and show them the footage we had shot during the day. Filmmaking isn’t just about the camera—it’s a team effort, and involving the families made them feel part of the process. It also helped me build trust and get the support I needed from the village ❤️.

In this photo, I’m showing the footage to the families. Honestly, there’s no better feeling than seeing what you’ve worked on all day come to life on screen in the evening ✨. It’s one of those little joys that makes all the hard work worth it.

You know, life can get pretty noisy sometimes—meetings, deadlines, endless to-do lists. But every now and then, you find a moment like this: a cozy corner, some natural light, and the sound of your own thoughts.💭

I captured this not because it’s special, but because it’s honest. Sitting here with my laptop, cross-legged and comfortable, I was just letting my ideas breathe, letting my mind wander. Sometimes, the best work comes from moments like these—not rushed, not forced, just... natural.🌱

If you’re reading this, maybe it’s your sign to slow down today, find your own space, and let your thoughts flow. Who knows, you might just surprise yourself. ☕✨
