*Demon Slayer Abridged - Episode 4*
Demon Slayer Abridged Episode 4 is nearing completion! We’re putting layer after layer of spitshine on this bad boy, and Redbeast has been hard at work, killing it like Tanjiro kills demons. At least, that’s what I think demon slayers do? This episode should take us from the beginning of the Wisteria House rest arc to the mid-way point of the Spider Mountain arc! Lots of complex VFX in this one, but we promise the wait will be worth it~
*Demon Slayer Abridged - Episodes 5*
With Ep. 4 containing the first half of Mount Natagumo, Ep. 5 will contain the second half, which contains that big crazy scene of Tanjiro going super saiyan and the budget doubling in power with him, and boy howdy are we doing our best to write this in a way that we don’t kill Redbeast on the spot. This episode is one of the first ones where we’ve been considering using the original flaps as they appear in complex scenes, just to prevent our editors from becoming animators. This episode was the initial roadblock in starting the series, believe it or not, as it was so beautifully animated, we were afraid no editor would touch it. But worry not, as Redbeast is more than ready to put his grubby little hands on every inch of it! …As soon as we finish writing it, that is.
*Frieren Abridged - Episode 1*
In a surprise to absolutely no one, Redbeast insisted on pulling double duty editing this and Demon Slayer at the same time. To his credit, we have @PSWeasel at the ready to rein him in on the crazier edits, especially considering that he is, in fact, @redbeastvfx. Editing has been moving along smoothly, because while Frieren is beautiful, the crazy animation sakuga isn’t as fight-heavy as Demon Slayer, so Redbeast can burn through layouts like a hot knife through butter!
*Frieren In a Nutshell! 2*
All the writing for Frieren in a nutshell 2 was done earlier, and as such, we’ve also collected all the lines and gotten into editing! The editing has been going smoothly, with resident Frieren-meister @PSWeasel in the editing bay. About half the skits are visually done, with the other half laid out and ready for the finer details that take a majority of the work. Soon it’ll be ready to go to Anthony Ray to do some fancy narration editing, then to @MyToasterIsMoist for sound design, and it’ll be ready to be consumed by our lovely viewers!
*Frieren In a Nutshell! Bonus Skits!*
That’s right! You thought we were JUST doing a full abridged, an abridged preview, and TWO nutshells?! WRONG!! We had tons of stuff we thought of for Frieren in a nutshell 2 that we couldn’t find room for, so we’ll be making 8 shorts on top of the 16 we have planned for Frieren in a nutshell 2, for a grand total of 24 additional Frieren shorts! These shorts will come out individually, as well as in a compilation later on, so look forward to that!
*Sakamoto Days In a Nutshell*
You voted for Sakamoto Days on our previous Nutshell video poll, and we’ve been working hard on it. We were sadly not able to get it done before the end of the first season, but since the anime will have the second cour airing in Summer, we hope to have it done around then!

With EoD done with the movie and Season 2 Episode 2, that means he can get right to work on Season 2 episode 3 of Goblin Slayer Abridged! We’ve got all the writing done last week, and we started collecting lines this week, so hopefully within a month or so, you should see the first part of this come out on our Patreon! At this rate, we might abridge Goblin Slayer faster than it comes out!
*Goblin Slayer D&D Campaign*
We’re going to be doing a roughly 10 episode Goblin Slayer Abridged D&D game, featuring NickA_TheVA (Cow Uncle) as the GM, Grimmjack (Goblin Slayer), Coffinjockey (Dwarf Shaman), Laikachi (Sword Maiden), and Neoka (EoD had to step down due to availability, but Neoka is an absolute gem (Also, she voiced our Rudeus from Mushoku Tensei Nutshell and our Damien from Spy X Family Nutshell!)) as players, playing original characters in an original Goblin Slayer Abridged location! All of the character art commissions are in, and we’re hoping to get the stream layout set up and start streaming within a month or two!
*Dwarf Shaman 3D Model in Progress!*
Our Friend, @DallienceStudios , has been hard at work on his video Game, Yasuke: A Lost Descendant, but he took some special time out just to make us a custom Cow Girl model AND has just started work on a Dwarf Shaman model! We’ve already been told that this one is harder to work on than Cow Girl, as Dwarf Shaman’s beard and drapey clothes are tricky to get the physics just right. That said, once he’s done, we fully plan to use both of them in our parody animations! We’ll post the images and WIPs on our Patreon very soon! Dwarf Shaman is set to join Cow Girl as an incredible model we tend to use for silly nonsense~
*Konosuba Girls Are STILL Useless*
You voted on our poll for which new animation you’d like to see us do, and the Konosuba girls won! So we’re working on a new animation with the help of our amazing friend @Daitomodachi! We’ve finished the storyboard for the episode and are now in the line collecting phase!

We tried out doing a short back in March with our lovely Demon Femboy Esil, and seeing how well it turned out, we’ve decided to work on another short to gauge interest, as season 2 ended a few weeks ago. We set up a poll for what Anime you’d like to see as a Nutshell a few months back, and Shangri-La Frontier got 2nd place under Sakamoto Days. Because we’re such huge fans of the series, we decided to work on it on the backend while working on Sakamoto Days in a Nutshell! We hope to wrap up writing sometime in May! IT’S A COMIN’, BOIIS!!!!! This absolute behemoth weighs in at a hefty 54 minutes and 33 seconds, features a ton of incredible work from our cast and crew, and will premiere in February! As you might expect with something 54 minutes long, this took us quite a while to finish, and it’s been taking YouTube quite a long time to be ready for us to make it live, but we’ll set up a big ‘ol premiere on one of the Fridays in February, so make sure to tune in and comment live! IT’S A COMIN’, BOIIS!!!!! This absolute behemoth weighs in at a hefty 54 minutes and 33 seconds, features a ton of incredible work from our cast and crew, and will premiere in February! As you might expect with something 54 minutes long, this took us quite a while to finish, and it’s been taking YouTube quite a long time to be ready for us to make it live, but we’ll set up a big ‘ol premiere on one of the Fridays in February, so make sure to tune in and comment live! An ocean of dead goblins is sure to ensue~

If you haven’t seen our Frieren Abridged short that came out in December, we announced that we were hard at work on Frieren Abridged! We have all the lines collected and are about to jump right into editing it after Demon Slayer Abridged is finished.

Yep! We’re working on even more Frieren content! Continuing off our popular Nutshell video on Frieren, we’ll be covering a great portion of the first season! Once this one is done, we’d only need one more nutshell video to fully cover all of Season 1, and be ready to start on Season 2 once it’s released!

Since we about wrapped up with the GSA Movie, we decided to jump straight into writing for GSA S2 Ep2 and quickly got the script finished and all the super talented VAs jumped right into recording it all in record time! We’ll hopefully have some parts appear on our Patreon in Jan/Feb!

With Digi-Destiny: Intruder up and running, we’ve got our eyes set on starting the Goblin Slayer D&D Campaign soon! We’re currently looking into artists for locking in commissions and getting the ball rolling! We’ll update you guys very soon, so come say hi when Grimmjack, Coffinjockey, and EoD (The Creators of Goblin Slayer Abridged) are joined by Laikachi (Voice of Abridged Sword Maiden) as their fellow player, and NickA_TheVA (Voice of Abridged Cow Uncle) as our DM! Expect fun, laughs, and DEEP POOLS of goblin blood soon~

Our Friend, Dallience, has been hard at work on his video game, Yasuke: A Lost Descendant, but he took some special time out just to make us a custom Cow Girl model we can use in our parody animations! We’ll post the images and WIPs on our patreon very soon! This is easily one of the best models in our arsenal now, so expect some animated goodness soon~
