Sometimes I get caught up in the excitement of this podcast growing, but then I see this photo... 🙏

This photo was taken by my wife during the darkest days of my addiction - trying and failing to get back into bed, completely lost to alcohol. I keep it as a reminder not of shame, but of transformation.

Every time I look at this picture, I think about what she endured. The countless nights of worry. The hidden bottles. The broken promises. Yet somehow she stayed, fought for me when I couldn't fight for myself.

Almost 30 podcasts of recovery and hope later, I'm a different person. But I'll never forget where this journey started. And that's why I'm not ashamed to share this picture. Sobriety isn't just about staying away from alcohol - it's about honoring those who loved us through our worst moments by becoming the person they always knew we could be.

Today I'm building something beautiful with this channel, sharing recovery stories and hope. But I never want to forget where this started. This picture keeps me grounded, humble, grateful.

To everyone in this amazing community who shares their stories, leaves comments, and spreads hope - thank you. You're why I do this. Together we're showing others they don't have to reach the edge of death like I did to find their way back to life.
