Artwork #2: Teleport by Hugo Lioret & Kateryna Repa
"If teleportation could be, what would it look and sound like? We imagined it in the form of a dome arch resonating in space. In this art project called "Teleport", arches are presented in the form of an embryo that grows in a sonic environment depending on the development and capabilities of new technologies, just like any embryo evolving over time to become an entity in its own space. "
Hugo Lioret is a sound artist and researcher. Hugo studied with Mathias Delplanque in Berlin, with Hervé Bouley at Radio France in Paris and at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. He did his master thesis on field recording at Sorbonne University and worked at INA GRM on pedagogy and at GMEM CNCM as in charge of the transmission unit.
Kateryna Repa is a multidisciplinary artist born in Odesa, Ukraine in 1979. Currently, she is based in Italy. Kateryna Repa works with various artistic mediums, including painting, graphics, media art, sculpture, and photography. Her diverse portfolio reflects her versatility and creative exploration.
